Chemical Kid (A Young Justice Fanfiction)

Interview

Evie swooped down to the front doors of the house she had got a call about. She had been sitting at him enjoying popcorn and the Marvel cinematic universe when her phone received a notification. She saw it was a possible homicide at a home across town. She quickly rushed over to the home, hoping she wasn't to late.

She stepping into the house and began to search through. She saw several vases, picture frames and china plates smashed on the ground. She stepped around the smashed bits of glass and pottery trying not to get hurt. That's when she heard footsteps and she quickly turned invisible and stood in a corner. She saw two small children run past her and into the parlor. It was a boy and a girl, the girl who was the elder had brown hair and dark eyes. The boy had blond hair and green eyes.

She chashed after them and grabbed the girl. She covered the girl's mouth, making sure she wouldn't scream.

Evie whispered, "My name is Chemical Kid. I'm with the Justice League. Are you two okay?"

"We're fine. There's a man and woman upstairs with mommy." The boy said.

"I'm going to go get her." Evie responded, she then turned to the girl. "Can you take your brother somewhere safe?" She nodded, "Then go, I'll come find you when they're gone." The two ran off and Evie ran up the stairs.

She heard a scream coming from a door on her right. She kicked it open to see a woman gagged and tied up in a chair. The woman had long blond hair that looked slightly fake and brown eyes. Evie ran over and pulled her gag down. There was a bed to her left and a closet to her right, very minimalist.

"My name is Chemical Kid, I'm with the Justice League. Who did this to you?"

The woman whispered, "A woman in a black skin tight suit and an older man."

"Ma'am do you think these people came after you for a reason?" Evie asked as she began to untie her.

"I'm a scientist. I was trying to make a tracking system that could track even the smallest particle and never fall off." She gestured her head to a desk in the corner. "The prototype is in there. I was going to sell it to the Justice League, thinking they could use it to track some villains."

"That would be useful," Evie said as she walked over to the desk, "But I do have one question."

"Yes?" The woman asked as she stood up.

Evie caused a flame to appear on her hand, "Did you really think I would fall for your ruse Talia Al Ghul?" She then turned her arm into steel and whipped around to see Talia hitting her steel arm with her katana.

"Huh, guess you're smarter than you look Lester." She said as Evie kicked her to the ground.

"Quite simple really, your wig, nails, or make-up didn't help either." Evie then snapped the katana and pulled out hand cuffs. "Ya know Talia." She cleared her throat, "I'll snatch your wig and your nails off." She then ripped off the wig and nails and walked her outside.

"I also know that those children were children being trained by the league of shadows. Honestly Talia do you think I'm that stupid?" Evie said in annoyance. "You know Talia, when I'm sitting at home in my comfy pajamas, watching The Avengers for the eight millionith time and eating popcorn, I don't appreciate being called in for a fake break in. So next time how about you just come to me, you know where I live." Evie then threw her into the back of a cop car.

She then turned to some of the cops that had showed up, "Make sure she doesn't get out." She said in a stern voice.

"We have this under control miss Lester." The cops said to the young red head.
