We spent the last few hours filming for the first episode. These first scenes were supposed to be our introductions, so the audience can know who we are. Now, we are about to start the hard part: the missions.

Filing into the room they wanted us to film this part in, we stand in front of a table that PDnim is seated at.

"Hello, girls. I hope you're having fun with the filming so far," PDnim greets us.

Suwei nods, "It has been different but in a good way."

"Good to hear."

The staff soon signals us that the cameras are rolling, and PDnim explains what he has to.

"As you know, this show will decide the fate of your debut. Will you debut as a group together? As solo artists or a duo? Or maybe not debut at all? The show will have different missions for you girls to accomplish to show your skills. Practice hard, and your goal can be reached. Have you heard the name of the show yet?"

The three of us shake our heads to say we have not.

PDnim lightly smiles, "After taking many ideas into consideration, we have decided to name the show '321' to signify the numbers you could debut with. Hopefully, you can succeed with three members, but if not, those remaining two numbers are always a possibility. Are you ready for your first mission?"

"Yes," we say in unison.

Even though we have spoken to PDnim about this show numerous times before, and we have gotten advice from Stray Kids and GOT7, we can't help but be nervous now that it is actually happening. Before, there was always room for error. Now, the world is watching us, and everything we do either makes or breaks our chances at debuting.

"Your first mission is made to show your teamwork. I want you to cover a song that can show each of your talents while proving you work better together rather than alone. Feel free to personalize the song you choose or leave it as it is. It is all up to how you think you can best represent your group dynamic," PDnim explains.

I feel relieved after hearing that our first mission is a group mission: Although I know we will not be able to perform together for the whole show, it is nice to know that we have each other for our first attempt at a mission in front of PDnim.

Filming just finished, so we went back to our dorms. We have just over a week before we have to perform our first mission. The staff explained to us that from tomorrow, we will have people filming us around the practice room for the show. This is going to be a huge change from what we are used to.

"I'm definitely going to manage to embarrass myself on camera in the first episode," Nyla says, "Couldn't I at least wait until we are a few episodes in? Unfortunately, I don't trust myself to be normal for that long."

Suwei chuckles, "Don't worry, Nyla. I know you can be a bit awkward, but you'll probably be fine. Besides, a few mistakes are bound to happen eventually, and that goes for all of us."

"She's right. We will just have to get used to all this on camera stuff. But for now, do any of you have ideas for the performance?" I inquire.

Nyla opens up her laptop, "I figured we should cover a song we are somewhat familiar with given the time we have to prepare. Here are some songs I think could be fun."

Suwei and I scroll through her YouTube playlist and watch a few of the videos that catch our attention. We end up narrowing down our interests to a few possible songs.

"Let's decide between these tomorrow. Get some sleep for now; it's getting late," Suwei tells us.

"Sounds good. Goodnight, mis amigas."

I laugh, "Night, Nyla and Suwei."
