Heading into the practice room we usually go to, we are greeted by Sarai, Kaito, Moonsik, and Hyesun rushing towards us.

Sarai smiles at us, "How'd it go?"

"You're not in trouble are you?" Kaito inquires.

"I bet you got in trouble," Moonsik states.

"I hope you aren't, because if so, I owe him money."

"Would you two just shut up and let them explain?" Hyesun lightly hits them, making the quarreling boys shut up.

I laugh, "First off, we are not in trouble."

Kaito smirks, holding his hand out to Moonsik, "Pay up."

Moonsik sighs and reaches for his wallet while asking us, "So what happened then?"

"We're going to be on a survival show," Riley tells them.

They immediately light up, "That's amazing!"

The four cheer at the fact that we have a chance to debut. We explain to them that we are risking being split up as a group, but they give us words of encouragement.

"So a survival show," Mark sits beside us, Jackson sitting on the other side of us.

Nyla nods, "Yeah, but I think it could be fun. How do these shows work anyway?"

"Well, have you watched the current JYPE survival show or Produce 101 or something?" Jackson questions us.

We shake our heads to signal we haven't but explain that we have heard quite a bit about Produce 101.

Jackson proceeds to explain it to us, "Usually there are different tasks that are given to test the trainees' talents. For example, they are split into groups and have to create a performance that shows their style while staying true to the song. I am not sure what you guys will have to do since you are only three people, but it will probably challenge your skills."

"Maybe we will have to perform together and solo, so PDnim can decide which he prefers," Riley suggests, a frown spreading across her face at the thought of performing solo.

Mark adds on, "Whatever could happen, you guys have been training hard. You can handle it. Also, if you have time, you could watch the current JYPE survival show to get familiar with it."

"What's it called?" I ask him.

"Stray Kids."

The three of us crowd around Nyla's laptop as she starts the first episode of the Stray Kids' survival show.

"So this show started with both a girl group and a boy group?" Riley comments, "What happened to the girls?"

Nyla and I shrug in response.

"After we watch these episodes, we should totally check out 3RACHA's music. That clip we just heard was great," Nyla says.

I agree and add, "Those girls are really good. PDnim says they could have a future."

Riley and Nyla noticeably get nervous, and Riley suggests, "We should practice more after this. Although we aren't competing against another group of trainees, we still don't want to mess this opportunity up."

"Riley is right. We shouldn't take this lightly. If we don't make use of this opportunity, who knows how much longer we will have to train?" I point out.

The performance done by the boy project team comes on, and we are able to tell who is who from Hellevator. Well, for the most part.

"There's that rapper I like! His voice has such a cool vibe," Riley tells us.

I glance at him and try to recall his name, "He's Hyunjin, right? The one that was confused why so many people recognized him?"

"I think so," Nyla somewhat confirms while asking, "The leader trained with some GOT7 members? We should ask them about that. Pretty sure his name is Chan."

"Yeah. I feel bad that he trained for 7 years. At least he is finally getting his debut," Riley adds, happy that the hard-working boy is able to reach his goal.

I suddenly remember something PDnim said, "Aren't the Stray Kids member's at risk for elimination?"

"I completely forgot about that," Nyla says, "But why were they able to release Hellevator then?"

"This stuff is confusing," Riley simply replies, all of us nodding in agreement before returning our attention to the screen.

We paused our discussions when this scene flashed onto the screen.

"Okay, so, that's the Australian line right there," Riley states, unsure what to think of the short clip.

After a moment of silence, we all laugh at the boys on the screen. They seem to be best when they're with each other.
