su-wei lin

[korean]

We spent the past week visiting different places near Seoul with GOT7, so today we decide to stay in the dorms.

"You guys have to show us more of your music," Bambam said after seeing the song Nyla produced, I choreographed, and Riley wrote lyrics to that was inspired by GOT7's song 'Turn Up.'

Nyla searched through her files in her laptop to find some other songs that she produced, "I don't have anything else completed, but this is a ballad I started working on."

She pressed the play button and the sound of her playing piano flowed through our ears.

Youngjae, who seemed immersed in the song, speaks up, "If you decide to work more on that ballad or on other ballads, you need to show me. I have a lot of ideas for ballads."

She smiled and nodded at him, shutting her laptop screen.

Jaebum turned to Riley and I, "What about you two? Any cool ideas?"

Riley pulled out her phone and opened her notes full of lyrics, "Here are some random lines I wrote, but most of them are in English."

"Are they rap lyrics or vocal?" Jackson asks her, curiosity in his voice.

She shrugs, "A bit of both."

Yugyeom steals her phone and scrolls through the lyrics, Bambam looking over his shoulder. The others look at me expectantly.

"I have a notebook with choreography ideas," I explain, and the boys signal for me to go get it.

After getting my notebook and sitting back down with everyone else, I flip through the pages to show them my sketches of choreography movements.

Jinyoung stops on a page, "So this is the choreography you made for the song made after 'Turn Up'?"

"Yeah," I point at certain sketches, "But I decided to change most of it as you can see."

My phone rings, startling Nyla, who for some reason had it. She tosses it to me, and I look at the Caller ID. It is a number from here in Seoul, but they are not in my contacts.

"Put it on speaker," Mark says.

I agree and answer the call.

"Su-Wei Lin?" the person on the phone asks for confirmation.

I respond, "Yes, who is this?"

"I am calling from JYP Entertainment. We would like to inform you that you, Riley Smith, and Nyla Asher have been accepted as trainees into our company. Thank you for auditioning."

My eyes widen in shock as I turn to Nyla and Riley, who have huge smiles on their faces.

I lightly laugh, "Thank you so much! We really appreciate this opportunity."

The person continues to give us information on where we should go and when we will start training. After they finish, I thank them one more time, and the phone call ends.

"Okay, so that just happened," Riley says, the smile not yet leaving her face.

Nyla adds on, "Yeah, that was real, right? That actually happened: Wow."

I chuckle at their behavior, "We really made it. This could maybe work out."

"I'm so proud of you guys!" Mark exclaims, bringing us into a group hug.

"And I love hugs!" Bambam throws himself into the hug.

"Me too!" Jackson excitedly adds before forcing the other members and himself into the hug.

Mark slightly pulls apart, "You guys are going to do great."
