"Damn him," I grumbled. Haruhi hit me on the head. "Ow!"

"Stop damning Arai for giving you Hiroshi's number!"

"Now Hiroshi has my number and he's being weird! It's freaking me out!"

"Just relax and enjoy the expo."

"I don't want to go to the stupid expo."

"Too bad."

"Yeah, I get it. You know what would make me happy?"

"I already told you that I'm not doing it."

"Please Haruhi? I'll stop damning Arai for giving me Hiroshi's number." Haruhi scowled at me before looking ahead and then grinning evilly. "Haruhi, Darling, why are you smiling like that?"

"I'll do it. But, if I win, you buy me lunch. If I lose, I don't have to do anything."

"Deal."

"We'll go to that place."

"Got it."

"Ok. Ready? Let's go." I took off through the crowd of people and made it to where we were supposed to race.

"Yes! I win! I win! I don't have to buy you lunch now! I won! Woohoo!" I paused my celebration to look at the terrified face of a boy and the scowling face of the person with him. "Kyoya-senpai, who's the kid?" I asked while pointing at the frightened boy.

"He's just a little brat that ran into me."

"Gosh you're mean." I walked past Kyoya-senpai and crouched down in front of the boy with a smile. "Hey, kiddo, what's wrong?"

"IT'S A MONSTER!"

"Monster?"

The boy pointed at something behind me so I looked and realized that he meant Kyoya-senpai. I looked up at Kyoya-senpai with a smile before laughing hysterically so he turned his glare on me. The kid touched my arm.

"Are you ok Miss?" I calmed myself down and wiped away the tears from my laughter before looking at the kid and nodding.

"I'm fine. You don't have to worry about this guy though. He won't hurt you. Besides, even if he tried, I'd protect you from him." I got up and held up one arm as if I was flexing my muscles. "I am pretty strong after all," I said while putting my other hand on top of where my bicep was. The kid grinned and got up.

"Wow! You're so brave! You laugh in the face of danger!"

"Thanks."

"Also... you're really pretty."

"Aw. Thank you. You're such a sweet kid."

"Tsubasa, what are you doing here?" I turned around to face Kyoya-senpai at the sound of his low voice.

"I came here to enjoy the expo with Haruhi."

"Well, where is she?"

"We raced over here!" I paused. "Now that you mention it, she should have been here by now. By the way, I absolutely love the way you're glaring at me. Do it more." He scowled and looked away while crossing his arms so I looked back at the boy with a grin. "You should go find your parents," I said with my amusement in my voice.

"Ok. Bye pretty lady! Thank you!" He turned and ran off so I looked back at Kyoya-senpai.

"Haruhi is gone! You have to help me find her!"

"No. I'm sure she just tricked you so she wouldn't have to deal with your idiotic antics."

"Hey! Just because that's probably true doesn't mean you can say it out loud!" I heard his stomach growl so I looked down to see the source of the familiar sound that signaled hunger.
