Two Commoners in the Club

So... We Get to Party and Make Someone Happy? Best Club Ever!

I hissed in pain while Haruhi gently dabbed at the blood above my right eye. She was very concerned for me and I was able to tell even without looking at her eyes. Her stance reflected it all. She poured some disinfectant on the rag she had in her hand and then started to dab at my eye again, making me wince.

“Ow,” I mumbled.

“Well, you got messed up pretty bad! You have to be careful!”

“I know,” I replied while hanging my head.

“Head up,” she snapped.

“Yes!” I straightened up.

“Hey Haruhi, Tsubasa,” the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, greeted as they entered the classroom.

“Hi,” we greeted distractedly.

“What happened?” Hikaru asked as he moved to join us with Kaoru right beside him.

“I fell on my way to get Haruhi so we could walk to school together,” I said automatically.

“You sound like a robot,” Kaoru told me.

“So?”

“We don’t believe you,” they said together.

“It’s true,” Haruhi told them. “She showed up at my house like this. Since it was time for us to go to school, I grabbed some things to treat her eye so we could do this here.”

“Right,” the twins said in a disbelieving tone before turning and walking away.

“Ignore them,” Haruhi told me while placing a band aid over my cut.

“Thank you Haruhi.” Sadly, the twins were right. It's just that the way I did hurt myself was way more embarrassing than falling down.

“We’re never gonna hear the end of it if we’re late,” Haruhi complained as we ran towards the club room.

“If you had gone when I told you the first time, we wouldn’t be in this mess.”

“Oh stop,” she snapped as we came to a stop in front of the doors. We opened them up and revealed a tropical paradise.

“I don’t even want to know,” I mumbled while walking inside and past all the guys until I found a nice, secluded corner that was hidden by plant-life. “I’m taking a nap.” I put my arms on the table and made a cradle before laying my head in the cradle and closing my eyes, soon falling asleep.
