I Tested Their Courage!

I was spacing out during class, daydreaming away of what it would be like to date Nekozawa-senpai since Kaito had talked about it. I actually really enjoyed the thought. However, I wouldn't be able to date him if I couldn't get close enough to ask him out. I sighed and leaned back in my chair before I noticed that Haruhi and Hikaru weren't sitting beside me. I looked towards Renge's seat and saw her standing on it in some sort of cosplay.

"Renge, what are you wearing today that makes your beauty more radiant than usual?" I asked nonchalantly. She looked at me with a giant grin.

"Ah! Tsubasa, you're paying attention again! I have something important I want to ask you!"

"Ok? What is it?"

"Do you have a thing for boys?" she asked, her voice dripping with excitement.

"Uhhhhhhhhhh... and if I do?" Screams filled the classroom from fangirls fangirling. "What have I done?" I groaned to the ceiling, unable to be heard due to the screaming.

"I have another question!" I looked at Renge.

"What is it now?"

"How would you feel about our Halloween Test of Courage?"

"It sounds like fun. If we're doing a test of courage though, we gotta do it in groups of at least 3 with the biggest group having 5. If we do it in groups, it'll be scarier. However, if the groups are too big, it won't be any fun. On top of that, we have to have rules that we will set forth beforehand, and a punishment for the loser of the test of courage should have some sort of penalty," I responded.

"We have an idea." I looked at Hikaru and Kaoru.

"Ok, shoot."

"Whoever leaves will be featured on the school newspaper's front page as the King of All Cowards," they declared. I clapped for their idea.

"Great idea, guys! Let's do it!"

"Yeah!" In the end, we unanimously voted for an After Dark Halloween Test of Courage on School Grounds. It was cool, though I had no idea why we were doing it since I was spacing out.

After school club activities

"Oh! Vampires! That's so cool! I always wanted to do a monster themed cosplay day! It's a shame that the four of us are going to be skipping club activities from now until after we finish our class activity on Halloween," I stated after we walked in. Tamaki instantly turned to face us.

"What are you talking about, Tsubasa?"

"Well, Tamaki-senpai, I'm glad you asked. The four of us are on a planning committee for a special event that our class is sponsoring! It's gonna be great!"

"Well, duty calls then," Kyoya-senpai stated.

"Bye everyone. Sorry to disappoint any ladies looking forward to us being here! Good luck without us," I called while turning to head off with Haruhi, Hikaru, and Kaoru.

"You have fun," Honey-senpai called out to us.

"Wait! Why are Haruhi and Tsubasa going with you shady twins?" Tamaki-senpai cried.

"We're in the same class. We have to help prepare for the after dark test of courage thingy that we're doing! I'm super excited!"

"After dark?" Tamaki-senpai squeaked before spacing out. "Haruhi, you're not going to take part in this, are you? For decency's sake, tell me you won't!"

"Calm down Senpai, it's just some harmless fun."

"Harmless... she said it's harmless. Tsubasa, what about you? Tell me you're not joining in too!"
