Bringing an End to Certain... Things

I left the room while sighing with a blush on my face. I saw that Ritsu was freaking out while the club picked on him. I scowled and made my way over to him.

"Leave the poor guy alone, guys! He didn't mean to walk in on me changing!" I looked at Ritsu and smiled. "Hey Ritsu, sorry if you freaked out seeing me change. Please don't tell anyone about that."

"I... I won't. Why was... Fujioka in there with you?"

"Oh! You don't know about that. I forgot. Haruhi, mind if I tell him?"

"Go ahead." I looked at Ritsu with a smile.

"Haruhi is a girl too. It's ok if she sees me changing because of that."

"Fujioka is a girl too?" he shouted in shock.

"Yeah. We're both girls."

"I'll keep your secrets! I promise!"

"Thanks, but you don't have to," Haruhi told him.

"It's your prerogative on what to do. Either way, thanks for coming to us. I'm glad that I got to meet you, so thank you for coming here for us to meet you."

"Huh?"

"You're a great person so I'm glad that we met."

"R-right. Akiyama, I don't think I've ever really looked at your face."

"Huh?" I questioned while opening my eyes.

"Ah! Now I see it!"

"See what?"

"How it's obvious that you're a girl."

"Ok then? Not sure how that happened, but ok! Either way, it was nice seeing you again today. I have to get going. Boys, play nice with Ritsu, please."

"Who's Ritsu?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked.

"He's standing right there! Learn his name, you nitwits!"

"Right... sorry."

"It's fine. I have to get to the hospital to visit my dad. See you guys some other time. Later."

"Right."

When I walked in the hospital room my dad was staying in, I saw him trying to get out of bed while nurses and doctors held him down. They started to talk about sedating him when I closed the door and scowled.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE?" I shouted. My dad instantly went back to laying down in the bed.

"Tsubasa, I feel fine now, honest. I should be allowed to go home."

"Rest more! Pushing yourself too much is exactly what landed you in here in the first place!"

"But!"

"No! No buts! You will lay there and rest!"

"We'll let you handle this, Miss." The nurses and doctors all left the room so I moved to his bedside with crossed arms.

"Why are you so anxious to get out of here?"

"I... I need to pay the loan shark. It's time for my monthly payment to him. I pay him myself so you don't have to go."

"What are you talking about? I pay him every month with the money you leave behind when you go on trips."

"But, I pay him when I'm here so you don't have to!"

"That rat bastard!" I pulled out a calculator and started to type furiously on it. "We finished paying him off two months ago. He owes us money. I'm going to get that bastard!"
