Only Tamaki’s special mind theater moments will be parts that are not in Tsubasa’s point-of-view
(Tamaki’s Mind Theater…)
The whole Host Club, minus Haruhi, who had just gotten sick from eating fake fancy tuna, stood in front of an old, run-down shack. It was not as bad as Haruhi’s house, but it was still terrible. Ivy grew on the walls of the shack and filled in some cracks.
“This place is terrible too,” Hikaru muttered.
“How can they live like this?” Kaoru asked after his brother.
“Come now men; Haruhi’s home was bad on the inside too, but I don’t think that it will happen again with Tsubasa! Let’s head inside!” The group stepped up to the front door and rang the doorbell, which made a sound like an animal dying.
“Coming,” Tsubasa called in a cheery tone. The door opened moments later and a giant grin spread across her face. “Hi guys! I just finished setting everything up for you! I’m glad you came now! Come in.” She stepped to the side and let them in. They all walked inside the house and saw that there were cracks in the wall that were covered by duct tape.
“Tsubasa, you look like you’re injured again,” Kyoya said. Tamaki spun around and saw that Tsubasa had a cut above her right eye.
“Heh. Yeah. I tripped and hit my head on the edge of the counter.” She pointed to the nearby counter and they saw a spot of blood on the extremely sharp edge. “Oh! Give me a minute to grab the food and the tea! I’m sure you’ll like it! I got it from the supermarket. It’s not fancy tuna or anything, but I hope you’ll like it. Be right back!” She ran further into the house and Tamaki realized that the clothes she wore were the same as the day they first met.
“She looks much healthier than Haruhi,” he muttered. “Plus, her clothes are in good condition, so that’s good. I’m a bit relieved.”
“I have the food! Here’s some tuna and sushi platters! Haruhi showed me where they were so I was able to buy some with her. I barely had enough and tried to help Haruhi so she wouldn’t have to fast with her dad, but she refused. My parents were so happy to buy this since I never have friends over, other than Haruhi. Here. Take a platter everyone!” Each Host took a platter from the tray she had that had the platters and tea cups and sat down with it. She handed everyone a tea cup, though some were bowls and everything had at least one chip in it. “Be careful of the chips. I don’t want any of you to get cut.”
“Aki-chan, you’re being weird today,” Honey said with a pout of confusion on his face.
“Yeah,” agreed Mori. She looked around and then lowered her voice.
“My parents are here and they pressure me.” Before more could be said, the door flew open.
“We’re ready to see your friends, Tsubasa!” With that loud shout, the walls cracked more and the roof started to cave in.
