Only a few days after the Lobelia incident, my father headed off on a business trip just as I headed to school with Haruhi. I was kind of moping the entire day and really looking forward to club activities.
An emergency meeting was called at lunch so I headed to the club room with Haruhi, Hikaru, Kaoru, and my lunch. We all sat at a table together and I started to eat while Tamaki-senpai talked to us. Kyoya-senpai glared at me, but I ignored it and continued to eat.
"Tsubasa, Haruhi, you two don't know, but there will be a special party that Kyoya and I are expected to attend. Hikaru and Kaoru are urged to attend. Even Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai were invited. Therefore, we will not be holding club activities after school so we can prepare for the party." I dropped my chopsticks before looking at Tamaki-senpai with puppy dog eyes.
"But I want club activities," I whined softly.
"No, Tsubasa. They will not happen. Now, stop trying to make Tamaki feel guilty. Hang out with your boyfriend or something." I looked over at Kyoya-senpai with a frown.
"And who exactly is my boyfriend?" I questioned.
"That Hiroshi boy that showed up at the mall during the products expo."
"He's not my boyfriend! All that's happened between the two of us is that we're repairing our broken friendship! That's it!"
"Of course. Whatever you say," he replied sarcastically. I shot to my feet.
"Don't act like you don't believe me about this! Why would I lie? If I were dating Hiroshi, I wouldn't have kissed Hikaru and Kaoru when Benibara tried to put the moves on me! I am not dating anyone! I live for the fun of this club and you idiots when my dad is gone! I need this, man!"
"I'm afraid you'll have to find something else to do," he replied while standing up. "Tamaki, that's all that we had to discuss, right? I suggest we end this meeting here."
"But, Tsubasa seems so upset."
"She'll get over it." I thought he was a nice guy! That's it! I've had it! Why did I ever like this jerk in the first place?
"You're a big jerk, Kyoya-senpai! I'll get over it? Why do you act like you don't give a damn about how we feel when you do? You're so frustrating! If you insist on acting like a jerk, then be my guest, but don't expect me to like it! Now, I'm taking my lunch and leaving! I'll see you all tomorrow since there are no club activities today!" I stormed off with my lunch and went to eat on the edge of the fountain Haruhi and my things were tossed in by the Ayanakoji witch when she got jealous of us getting Tamaki-senpai's attention. Why is Kyoya-senpai such a jerk?

"Haruhi, I'm gonna go ahead and go. I'm tired of sitting in the library so I'm gonna walk around a bit before I head home. See you later."
"Bye Aki. I'll see you later." I put my things in my bag and then headed out of the library with it. I sighed while walking through some halls.
"Man, it's so boring when we have no club activities. I wish I had never gotten a crush on that jerk. Just thinking about it makes me mad. Of course, whenever I think about not having club activities, I think about it happening. Gosh, it's so frustrating," I mumbled to myself while walking through an empty hallway. "I wonder where everyone is. The halls are really empty today," I muttered softly. A tiny bit of fear started to creep in as I continued to notice the lack of people. "I'm starting to get a little scared."
"Akiyama, what are you doing wandering around the halls alone?" I stopped walking and turned to face the voice happily.
"Nekozawa-senpai!" I ran over to him and nearly tackled him with a hug.
