i wiped off the bruises with my makeup wipe. every inch of black makeup came off. it looked like nothing happened to her.

"so these were rumors..." the principal clapped his hands together.

"here's the proof." i gave him the makeup wipe.

black makeup.

"lucy, get back to class." the principal pointed at the door.

i walked out the door with a smirk on my face.

well, for a good 5 seconds.

i ran into the pink freak.

"hey," he said. "have you seen a kid by the name gray fullbuster? i need to make a bet with him."

i put my hand on my chin, trying to think until, i got it.

i checked my watch.

"gray should be out of his class in 5 minutes," i replied. "he normally goes near the library to talk to people though."

"thanks, lucy!" he ran off with a smile and he waved back at me.

i blushed, smirked, and waved back.

i never understood why lis liked this kid.

little did i know, lisanna was standing by the principal's door listening to or conversation.

she slapped me.

"lisanna what the heck-?"

"this is for getting me suspended!" she kicked my shin.

"and this is for liking my boyfriend!" she pushed me to the floor.

"good luck next week, loser!" she ran off.

boyfriend?

i got up off the ground. my shin was bleeding.

great.

i refuse the fight lisanna so she can punch me with her weak little fists all she wants. she'll get in trouble one day.

suddenly, a girl with short curly blue hair ran my way.

"oh my god! are you okay?" she asked me.

"yeah, i'm completely fine." i rubbed my head. i saw blood in my hand too.

"i saw every little thing that happened," the girl told me. "you don't look okay."

"believe me," i said. "i'm completely fine."

she lifted me up off the ground because i was struggling to get up.

"you don't look fine to me." she said.

i smiled at her.

"what's your name?" i asked her.

"the name's levy," the girl said. "levy mcgarden. and you?"

"oh, i'm lucy! lucy heartfilia." i replied.

"hey i've heard of you!" levy said.

"you have?" i asked her.

"aren't you the girl that has read more than half of our library's books?" levy asked.

i laughed. "yep, i have!"

levy laughed too. "i guess you'll have to tell me about some!"

we made our way into the nurse.

"hi, how can i help you lucy and levy!" a young student by the name of wendy marvell asked us.

"wendy, what are you doing here?" i asked her.

"i want to be nurse!" she said. "so the nurse let me help people for the day!"

that's called the nurse not doing her job.

"anyways, lucy here got hurt. you think you can help her?" levy asked.

"i sure can!" wendy ran to the closet and got some supplies. "you'll be fixed in no time lucy!"

she did everything she could to help me. in what it seemed like a second, i was brand new.

"my skills payed off!" wendy looked excited.

"thanks wendy!" i patted her head.

"anytime!" she waved us goodbye.

"just in time for second hour!" levy said.

"yep!" i replied. "class?" i asked her.

"history," she replied. "you?"

"ugh, algebra." i replied.

"well, i'll see you at lunch!" levy waved goodbye.

"bye!" i waved back.

i felt a small gap on my shoulder.

"i lost the bet..."
