It's clear our school is going to win with sixteen to eight. The crowd is cheering loudly as the clock counts down the last minute.  I didn't think it was possible for the crowd to get any louder but when the buzzer sounds everyone does.

First game of the year and we win! I watch from the stands as the guys on the team high-five and congratulate each other. I can't help but smile, Trey wanted this so bad and he got it.  I'm so happy for him! He knows what he wants in life and he can definitely get it.

And what do I want?

I can't even think of a answer that I can be sure and happy about. I mean, of course I'm going to university but what for? I'm not positive on what I want to do with my life. I wanted to get into journalism but I'm not sure anymore.

"Come on, let's find Trey." Cody says and I snap out of my thoughts, following him. We find Trey waiting for us outside the locker room. I throw my arms around his neck.

"Congrats!" I smile and pull back from him.

"Thanks." his smile is huge right now. "Here are the key's to my car but if you two leave me behind I will not be impressed." I grab the keys from his hand before Cody can.

"Gotcha!" I yell over my shoulder, heading for the car. Cody and I arrive at the same time. I jump behind the wheel and Cody takes shotgun. I start the car, turning the music up loud. I watch other students and parents walk to their cars, some of them casting me annoyed glances.

I smile and wave at the people who give me death glares. I don't care if the music is loud, I'm young. This one lady who looks to be in her late sixty's (probably someone's grandma) glares at me and when I smile she gives me the finger.

Completely shocked, I look at Cody. He's laughing like crazy at what happened. I don't even know what to say. Just then Trey jumps into the backseat.

"Let's get out of here!" Trey yells over the music. I put the car into drive and head to his place. As we pull up we discover his house is packed. I park in the garage and shut the car off.

"How did everyone get inside?" Cody asks.

"Alex is home." Trey tells us, sending me a 'I'm sorry.' look. Alex is always flirting with me and I hate it. Alex is good looking, I won't deny that but he's Trey's older brother. It's kind of weird. Okay forget kind of it's very weird.

"Great." I mumble as I get out of the car. The music is so loud I can feel it vibrating through the floor. I can tell most people didn't bother to change since there still in the school colors. I smile, at least I won't stand out.

The boys and I make our way farther into the house. I split off from them to grab a drink. Something with alcohol. After getting a drink, I glance around the crowd of people. I locate Sally in the group and  join her.

Sally is probably my closest friend who's a girl. I mean we don't have sleepovers and share secrets but we get along really well. She has beach blonde hair, crystal blue eyes, pale pink lips and she's about one inch taller then me, making her 5'4".

"Hey, Katie!" she chirps, a smile on her face.

"Hey, Sally." I send her a smile back. I glance at the other's she's hanging out with. There's a boy who looks about seventeen with dark hair and eyes to match. The other person is a girl who looks eighteen and has simple brown hair and clear blue eyes.

Honestly the boy and girl are both stunning in looks. They both regarded me with slight interest. Suddenly the girl smiles.

"Hi, I'm Emma!" she smiles, she has the same positive energy like Sally. "And this is Will, he's pretty shy."
