"Let's do something fun today." Trey suggests. It's been a few weeks since we were at the arcade.

It's Saturday and it's just me and Trey today. Cody has locked himself in his room on one of his painting spree's. I glance at Trey from where I'm sprawled out on my bed.

"Like what?"

"Like building a tree house!" he spins around in my desk chair.

"A what-now?"

"A tree house, now come on, get up!"I glare at him and pull the covers over my head.

"It's only ten in the morning, why are you even here?" I mumble into the pillow. I just want to sleep. The blankets are ripped off from me.

"Noooo," I protest, trying to reach for them. I roll out bed, sending trey my best glare, which he returns with a grin.

"If you're not down in fifteen minutes , I'm coming to get you whether you're ready or not." he leaves my room with a big smile on his face. I stumble to my bathroom to get ready. I pull on a pair of white short shorts and a blue and silver crop top.

I walk out of the bathroom and stop. My bed looks so welcoming. Without another thought I slide back into my bed. Trey won't mind...

But of course, I'm wrong. He walks back into my room a few minutes later with a frown on his face. He marches right up to my bed and pulls the blankets off of me. I groan and roll over, hoping he'll take the hint.

"Katie, I warned you," he says. He pulls me off the bed, throwing me over his shoulder. I don't scream, believe it or not, I'm used to being lifted now. He carries me out into the back yard. He sets me down on the grass, under a tree.

I look around the yard. There are tools, nails, and piles of boards. I didn't think he was serious about building a tree house.

"I always wanted one when I was a kid but my parents wouldn't let me," he explains. I never knew that. I look at him, he just wants to have one of his childhood dreams made true. I know how that feels.

"Let's get started." I stand up, smiling. He smiles back at me, glad to have me on bored.

"Thanks," he says, I shrug like it's no big deal. But really, I would do anything to make my best friends happy. All they have to do s ask and I'll gladly do it.

With that, we start to build our tree house. It's way more work then it seems. We slowly put together the pieces. And it slowly start to look more like a tree house.

We're building a simple one. It's basically a wooden box with a window and a small balcony with a rope latter.

Many, many hours later we're standing on the ground looking up at our house. I feel pretty proud. Trey did most of the work, but still.

"Come on, we're not finished yet," he grabs my hand, leading me inside my house.

"We're not?" I ask him. "What else is there?"

"You'll see," he smirks. We walk into the living room. The first thing I notice is Angel. And Amber. Trey glances at them, drops my hand and walks over to the closet.

"What is she doing here?" I ask Angel. I can't help but feeling mad. This is my house and Angel knows I don't like Amber, yet she let her come over.

"Amber's sleeping over, I know I should have asked first but-" she babbles on but I cut her off.

"It's fine." Trey walks up to me and gives me his laptop to hold since he's carrying blankets and pillows.

"Doesn't matter anyway. We're going to sleep outside." Trey explains with a grin. I watch Amber's face. Her smile from seeing Trey drops and she glares at me. Which just makes me smile a little, more like a lot.
