2D didn't leave his apartment at all after he woke up. It was a Sunday, which meant no mail and therefore no reason for him to leave, so he sat in front of the TV. Static was his friend since he hadn't bothered to actually put anything on. He just sat cross-legged on the floor, listening to static and chewing his nails.
You should be doing something.
"I am doing somethin'," he said, continuing to chew on his already badly chewed nails and cuticles.
Like what? Ignoring your friends? You said you'd visit today.
The voice may have been right, but 2D was equally as right to ignore it. "Well, I lied," he said. It would have looked strange; Stuart talking to himself, but he knew it wasn't to himself. There was a voice - a conscience maybe - telling him what he should and shouldn't do, but also nagging him and ridiculing him.
Liars go to Hell, Stuart. "I know that. Not like I was goin' to Heaven anyways. God is an asshole. He made me like this."
Naturally, 2D resented any form of a higher power, including Satan, even going as far as to cursing them out when anything went wrong. And almost always, things went wrong.
And that's where you're wrong, dear Stu-pot. It's your fault you're like this. An eerie laughter echoed in Stuart's head. "Get out of my head! I hate you," he howled, clutching strands of his blue hair and tugging them with tears steaming down his cheeks.
He heard a knock at the door, but instead of answering he curled into a ball, still tugging at his hair. "2D?" he heard a voice call, but didn't answer. Multiple voices were now present, jumbled due to the different phrases being said. "Leave me alone!" he cried out and almost immediately his door opened. 2D didn't bother looking up when said person walked over to him and wrapped their arms around him. "Get offa me!" he cried out, continuing to pull his own hair until stands were being ripped out.
"2D, please calm down," the person cooed, and the bluenette finally opened his eyes to see Murdoc. Almost immediately, the voices ceased and 2D was left feeling numb. "What do you want?" he asked, holding fists full of blue hair in front of his face, then frowned.
"It happened again," he mumbled, the frown sticking to his face like it was held on with super glue. "This always happens when I don't take my medicine. I get all... bad," he said and Murdoc let him go. Stuart stood up and let the clumps of hair fall from his fists. He stared at them as they fell, tears following soon after. Then he went into his bathroom, returning with a handful of pills and going into the kitchen.
It was partially his fault, only because he had forgotten to take his pills. 2D was naturally a forgetful person due to the head trauma he'd undergone, but he usually remembered to take his pills. He returned to the living room with a glass of water and one by one, began to swallow each tablet and capsule. Murdoc watched as it happened, and it made him feel slightly nauseous. Seeing him have to take that many pills was unnerving. He had never wanted to see the bluenette like this, despite previously wanting him to be dead and thinking he was a nuisance.
With age, Murdoc's anger towards 2D had slowly began to deteriorate, leaving behind sort of a senile old man. He wasn't even that old, either.
"Did you ever care about me? Like, in a friend way? Because I don't really feel like you did."
Murdoc was surprised by the question, and thought he knew the answer, but he didn't. "I... I don't know," he replied. "Well, for the record, I cared about you in a friend way, but now I'm not so sure," Stuart said, returning the glass to the kitchen, and Murdoc began to look around the small apartment.
He could see a few dusty keyboards in the corner, almost untouched. In front of the sofa was a TV stand with a Nintendo 64 and a Playstation 4. Also on the stand were games, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. In a different corner was a record player with a few vinyls stacked next to it. On the walls were two posters, a digital clock with large numbers and various pictures - all of the band. Sat on the table to the side of the sofa were a laptop, phone, a TV remote, a Playstation controller and a copy of their book.
The walls were a shade of blue and the carpet was a light brown, with a grey area rug in the middle of the room. To the left of the TV was a room with the door opened, and Murdoc could see a bed, so he assumed that it was 2D's bedroom. Next to it was another door, most likely a bathroom.
Murdoc stood up and walked over to the record player, and noticed that an album by The Clash was the one that had recently been played.
"You can play it if you want. Or watch TV or play a game. I don't know. I have a lot of games, but I haven't played them in a while," 2D said, sitting on the sofa and placing a bowl of raspberries on the table. This would probably be the only thing he ate all day.
Murdoc nodded and played the record. Spanish Bombs was the next song and Murdoc sat on the sofa. "You can get something to eat if ya want, though I dunno what you'll find." 2D sighed. Maybe he was being too eager for Murdoc to stay. He wanted to be alone, but he also knew what happened when he was alone, and he wanted to prevent it from happening.
"Please don't leave. You don't even have to eat if ya don't wanna. Just... please don't leave," the bluenette said, almost begging, and Murdoc hugged him. "I'm not gonna leave."

i hope you like this, because i had no ideas.
i designed 2D's apartment randomly, and i wanted it to reflect his personality outside of the book.
also, gorillaz' new album and panic!'s new album come out exactly a week apart, and they're $10 a piece, so hopefully i can get an itunes card in time to buy both bc im probably going to georgia around the beginning of july.
so yeah. also, i hope i have data so i can be somewhat active while im in georgia bc if not, ill be sad
that's all, and ive decided to update whenever instead of once a month. it's easier that way.
