"Chaewon." We both stopped infront of her front porch.

"Hmm?" She hummed. I stared at her face which was illuminated by the street lights. The hand that she pulled away; I pulled it back and held it firmly around my fingers. Her once smiley face dawned to a confused expression as she stared at our intertwined hands.

"You've been awfully touchy today, Taehyung." She untangled our hands and I'm already missing her touch. Her awkward grin appeared as she asked,"Is something the matter?"

My palms began to sweat, my knees began to shake and I couldn't pinpoint this feeling that's been churning in my stomach.

"Taehyung?"

"Let's go out!" I blurred out and quickly slapped my mouth, shut.

"What?"

"Let's.. go on a date," I rubbed my nape in embarrassment as I stared down on my shoes.

I was a nervous wreck. But, when was I? I was never the type to cowardly ask someone outㅡ I was The Kim Taehyung. The boy who outdone himself by dating most of the girls in Dong Seoul University. The boy who was labeled as the notorious badboy. The same boy... who fell in love with Lee Chaewon.

"Taehyung," her voice trailed to a soft end. I lifted my gaze and I could see the half-smile of hers. "I don't.. like you that way. I don't even remember what type of person you areㅡ "

"Exactly! You don't remember," I cut her off. "Why not.. try to get to know me. Forget the pastㅡ let's just make new memories together."

"Didn't you say we were never close?"

"Yet. We're not close yet, Chaewon." I took an immense breath and chuckled nervously. "I just.. I want you to get to know me. Please?"

"But Taeㅡ "

"THREE DATES!" I startled her. "Go on three dates with me and on the last day you can decide whether you still want us to be friends orㅡ " I took her hand and gaze on her forehand. "ㅡ something more."

"Taehyung," she sighed.

This is it..

"If this is some joke you're pranking on me, I would really appreciate it if you admit it now..."

here it comes..

"But, if what you're saying is true.. then.. Yes, Taehyung." She looked up at me and bared her teeth in a wide grin. "I'd like to out with you."

"Ohmygod thank you!" I grabbed her tiny waist and lifted her to the air as I spun her around.

"Taehyung put me down!"

Her gigglesㅡ were the sweetest sound that escaped from her lips and I made her do that.

I made her giggle.

"Chaewon?"

I stopped dead track and put her down as soon as her front door opened. Jun-Seo stepped out, throwing daggers at my direction.

"O-Oppa.."

"I won't ask anything. Just get inside before mom gets home," he said, his eyes still glued to me. Chaewon glanced at me and threw me a weak smile before running off inside.

"You!" He sharply hissed. "I don't know why she's with you instead of Se Jun but, I'll let it slide this time." With that, he slammed the door shut with a loud thud.

"Grumpy ass."

Bvvrrtt!!

I took out my phone and saw an unknown messager.

xx: i'm free tomorrow night?

Grinning wider than the Pacific Ocean, I looked up and saw Chaewon in her room; leaning against her window frame as she showed me her phone. Quickly I saved her number and typed back; still wearing a goofy smile.

taehyung: I'll pick you up at 7pm, then.

Cutie: It's a date? >.<

Taehyung: It's a date ;)
