Chapter 52

Athena's POV

I was so nervous to tell Jeff. He keeps wanna do it with me and I fell him I can't an she is getting suspicious. so tonight I'm telling him. 

 "Hey Jeff." I kissed him.

 "Hey babe. Can we do it today?" He asked.

 "No. And I'll tell you why." I smiled.

 "Why?" He asked.

 "Well I am pregnant!" I smiled.

 "What?! Yay! I am so happy!" He said hugging me tight. He kissed my cheek.

 "I am so happy that you are happy. I was scared you wouldn't be happy and you would be mad or didn't want a kid. We have to tell Ruby. Can we tell her now? Her house is 20 minutes away. And it is only 2:00 PM. So please?" I begged.

 "Fine. I'll call Beth and tell her we're heading over." He said getting out her phone. I ran to the car. I was excited. Then Jeff came in. He started driving. When we were there I knocked and saw Beth.

 "Hi. Where's Ruby?" I asked.

 "Oh she is in her room. Jeff didn't tell me he would bring you." She scoffed.

 "Why would Jeff come alone?" I asked.

 "So we can have alone time. I miss his cuddles and kisses. I love him more than you. You're using him. And trust me when that baby is born he will go run off to someone else." She glared at me.

 "No. He would never do that." I suggested.

 "Why do you think he left me? He told me how much he wanted a kid. And then I got pregnant and I had my kid and he started to want a divorce. Then a couple years later I was pregnant again and he left me for you. He didn't love me and he never loved you. He probably has like fifty kids out there! He is a horrible person. He is a man whor-" Jeff walked over.

 "Hey. Where's Ruby?" Jeff asked.

 "In her room." She nodded at him. I followed Jeff in but she grabbed my arm.

 "I'm warning you. Leave him while you can." Beth said letting go. I walked to the room. I say down on Ruby's bed.

 "What's wrong?" He asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

 "Nothing." I sighed.

 "Ok well I'm gonna go use the restroom." He said. I nodded. I saw Ruby run in and sit next to me.

 "Yay!!! I missed you Athena!!" She hugged me.

 "Yea... So did I." I smiled at her very lightly.
