Chapter 23

Athena's POV

Ever since that whole incident I have been so depressed. I have been losing all of my matches. I haven't been eating. I basically only go out for my wrestling matches. Other than that I am in the hotel or in my room. I hate seeing Jeff. He always stares at me. It has been a month since it happened. I was sitting alone at catering right now.

"Hey." Jeff sat at my table that I was at. Now it was us two alone.

" Sup. " I nodded my head and continued scrolling through my phone. He took my phone out of my hands and set it down. I threw my hands up in the air. I looked at the floor. He lifted my chin up.

"Talk to me." He said.

" Fine. How is your kids? " I asked.

"Well I don't know. I responded with the message saying that I don't have enough money to pay for the kids because wrestling doesn't pay as much as you'd think and I wouldn't be able to have custody because I am wrestling most of the time. and usually I would be at home with you but things have changed. I didn't want to break up. I was going to tell you but not right then and there. Things were going great. I wanted to talk about it alone at dinner or something. Not at our job. I was planning on talking to you. I told you if you left me I wouldn't go with anyone. I haven't even thought anyone else was cute other than you! Also I have been distracting your matches, haven't I?" He explained.

"What makes you say that?! " I scoffed.

"Why don't we watch all of your loses? This is your longest losing streak ever. The most you lost is one time." He smirked. I rolled my eyes.

" Whatever. " I chuckled.

"So wanna get back together?" He smirked.

" Uhhhh......... "
