My mouth salivates at the smell of cooked seafood that swims in the air of the restaurant. I hear Taylor's chuckle when I duck under his arm as I enter, my newly loosened hair falling into my face. When he appears at my side, I nudge him in his side for laughing at me. Dropping his arm around my shoulder he lands a kiss on my temple and we follow the hostess and the rest of the band over to our booth. It's almost tucked away in the back of the restaurant.

A window over looks the booth, allowing moonlight to stream into the space. But the yellow glow of the nautical chandelier overhead overpowers any light the moon gives off. We file in after the rest of the booth, following Brooklyn as she slides in after Alec. Taylor settles down next to me, throwing his arm around my shoulder nearly immediately before tucking me into his side.

"Can I start you guys off with something to drink?" The hostess questions as she sets menu's in front of all of us. Her brown eyes dart between all of us and I catch a glint of the silver hoop curling beneath her septum.

"Water?" Oliver questions, looking between all of us and we simultaneously nod our heads, muttering the same. Taylor pulls me in closer, brushing his thigh against mine and when I give him my attention his eyes are lost across my face.

My lips curl into a smile as I rest my palm against his chest, causing his eyes to flutter back to me. Leaning up I place a gentle kiss on his lips. Savoring the moment because this was only the first of many kisses to come.

The moment is ruined as a straw wrapper lightly hits me on the cheek. I turn my gaze towards it's direction and find Oliver grinning maliciously at me.

"Get a room." He states nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders and leaning forward to capture his straw in his mouth. I stare at the water cups already dispersed around the table and widen my eyes.

When had they gotten there?

Before I could unwrap my straw and tuck it into my glass Brooke was squealing and shoving me and Taylor out of the booth. I stumble on the way out, only to have Taylor catch me as Brooke shoves me out the way. I watch as she all but leaps into Zachariah's arms and hugs him tightly — like she hadn't seen him hours ago.

"You saw me hours ago." Zach grumbles as he hugs her back, having to lean down a bit as she falls to her natural height. His eyes seem to skim over the table but my attention floats over to the girl shifting behind him.

Her chocolate brown hair was tugged up into a ponytail, curling loosely onto her shoulder and she sported a army green bomber jacket —which she had zipped up.

"Who, Braces?" Zach questions to something Brooke had said, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face as he turns to look back at her. The girl he introduced as Braces seems a bit annoyed at the nickname he'd given her. "She's just someone I met at the concert. She looked hungry." There's a slight lilt to his voice. Humorous. But it doesn't stop her from reaching up and whacking him up side the head.

Zach winces and I have to cover my mouth to contain my giggles as he rubs away the pain.

"Well don't let the girl starve! Sit, sit!" Brooke ushers to the chairs around us before sliding back into the booth. I follow her lead and then Taylor follows mine.

I don't pay much attention to the two until I'm fully seated and when I draw my attention towards her she was looking at all of us. The rest of the band, included Brooke and I, look away in attempts to hide that we had been staring. I lift my menu over my face but our cover is blown the second Oliver lets out a chuckle. I peak over the menu in time to spot Zach peeling his gaze away from Braces and reaching over towards Brooke. With ease he plucks her menu out of her hand.
