MULLETE CHAPTER BOIII

Lafayette POV

"Laf, hurry up! We're going to be late!" Herc yelled from the living room.

"I'm trying!" I replied, looking at myself one more time, before walking out of the bathroom.

"I don't understand how you have trouble managing your hair, it looks perfect all the time," Herc complimented.

"Mon ami, it is a hell we shall not speak of, especially when we're about to go to a concert!" I squealed.

"Yeah, and that's why we should have left ten minutes ago!"

We rushed outside and ran for about fifteen minutes before finding a train we could hop.

I jumped up first, with Herc in close pursuit. We both landed gracefully, having been doing the same routine for years.

We both sat down on the edge of the exit of the train cart, and simply admired the night sky.

"The stars are pretty beautiful tonight, but do you know what's more beautiful?" I smirked.

"That baguette you still keep in your closet?" He guessed.

"If I am that baguette, then yes, you are correct mon ami,"

"Oh, so you're in the closet?" Herc wiggled his eyebrows.

"Well, I don't have to be in the closet, at least around you,"

Herc turned shades of red I had never even seen before.

"Well, if it's okay with you, I wouldn't mind if you stepped out of the closet for me,"

"Alright, but only if you leave the closet with me... and we could hold hands on our way out if you'd like," I flirted.

"A-Are you asking what I think you're asking?!"

"Whatever you think I'm asking you, the answer is yes, mon amour,"

We both grinned, and looked away quickly.

"W-What just happened?" He stuttered.

"I think we both just found ourselves a boyfriend," I smirked.

The music
Blasting in my ears
Could never compare
To the sound of your voice
That seems to be
A lullaby
Compared to anything
I've ever heard
