Peggy POV
"I wish Angelica would just tell me who the father is," I groaned.
Maria and I were hanging out in my room, talking about Angelica's pregnancy.
"Yeah, you're her sister! I feel like you have the right to know," Maria replied.
I sighed.
"When's she supposed to give birth anyway?" She inquired.
"Sometime during late summer," I answered.
"Ah, has she thought of any names yet?"
"Not that I know of, so she might be open for suggestions,"
"Have you thought of anything?"
"Peggy Jr. of course!" I joked.
Maria grinned and rolled her eyes.
Eliza POV
"Hey, Theo," I spoke softly.
Theo and I agreed to meet up at Starbucks, Theo was already there when I arrived.
"Sup Liza!" Theodosia beamed, waving at me.
I sat down in the seat across from her.
"Do you know why Alex attempted?" Theo blurted it.
That question hit me hard. Did I have anything to do with it?
"No, do you have any guesses?"
"I know this sounds absurd, but I think we had something to do with it,"
"What?! Why- Oh... I guess I sort of get it now,"
"Yeah. I think you pressured the idea of you two pretending to date, but it was my idea!"
"You have a point," I sighed in defeat.
"Actually though, I think Alexander's attempt brought them closer together. I heard they were dating," She gossiped.
"Ooh! I ship it~" I cooed.
We chuckled.
"Our plan only made me jealous," She sighed, "WAIT! I UMM I UH-"
I cut her off, "It's fine."
But it wasn't fine. I knew my cheeks were red, and so were hers.
An awkward silence ensued.
"So... What do you think of your sister Y'know... being pregnant and all," Theo mumbled nervously.
"Our dad is threatening to kick her out, and none of us know what to do about it," I looked away.
"Oh... I'm sorry for asking, I..." She sighed.
"You don't have to worry. Alex offered to help, and I know he's good at persuading people to do things..."
I suddenly felt a soft hand caressing my cheek.
"Th-Theo?" I felt my heart flutter.
"Hmm?- OH! I AM SO SORRY!" She pulled her hand away quicker than you could say Christine.
We both laughed awkwardly.
"I heard that there's this really cool canoe place where you can ride on a canoe with your friends. Wanna call the group?" Theo suggested, obviously nervous.
"That sounds fun,"
We texted the Hamilsquad about the canoe place, and Theo and I headed over.
I swear these lame filler chapters will be over soon. Prepare for more interesting crap!!
