Aurie's POV
I woke up to a light buzzing next to my ear, and although I tried to ignore it and go back to my peaceful sleep, it only grew increasingly annoying.
I groaned as I grabbed the phone. I definitely wasn't a morning person.
"Hey babe" Noah said.
A smile broke out on my face, the butterflies rising up and a scarlet tinge appearing on my cheeks.
"Hey" I said, my voice a bit groggy since I had just woken up.
"Shit, did I wake you up?" he asked, a bit ashamed.
"Yeah" I chuckled. "But it's okay" I said.
"Are you free today?" he asked.
"Of course!" I said excitedly, knowing that whenever he asked me this, he had a plan.
"Great! We're going out on date then!" he said happily.
My smile widened and all I wanted was to hug him tight.
"Okay" I said, my voice shy and timid.
He let out a slight chuckle.
"I'll pick you up at 7. Be ready, love" he said and cut the call.
I couldn't contain the excitement and I rose out of bed, jumping up and down enthusiastically.
My first date!
I was so excited but at the same time, I was nervous.
The only problem was, I didn't know what to wear for the date.

After taking a long, warm shower, I slipped on my sweatpants and a pink adidas sleeveless shirt.
It had been so long since I had worn anything but hoodies and full-sleeved tops but I knew Demi was out today and so I grabbed the opportunity and wore a sleeveless top.
I walked downstairs and towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water for myself, when I saw a sticky note stuck to the marble counter.
Morning baby girl! I'm gonna be out today-meetings and press, but I'll be back by 4. Please eat something, I'll know if you don't. Take care of yourself, I love you!
-Demi.
I read the note, groaning as I read the part where she had asked me to eat, not that I was gonna listen though. She would probably forget about it by the time she would come back.
Sipping on the water, I went into the living room and decided to laze around and watch some movies until Demi came back.
I skipped breakfast as usual and lunch too. Even though Demi had warned me, I couldn't risk eating a thing.
I only drank half a glass of sone energy drink that I found in the fridge, and that was my breakfast and lunch.
I facetimed Maddie and Dallas in the afternoon, and spoke to mum and dad since they were out when I had facetimed them.
Ivy was busy with Amber and so I couldn't facetime her, though I so badly wanted to tell her about the date.
I checked the time-3:30, Demi would be home anytime soon. I raced upstairs and grabbed a hoodie, groaning as the heat engulfed me as I slipped it on.
