Aurie's POV

Brushing off the imaginary dust off my skater skirt, I glanced at myself in the mirror.

I was wearing a checkered black skater skirt, a plain black halter neck top and to string the outfit together, a denim jacket.

The jacket was long enough to hide the scars and the halter top perfectly fitted to meet the hem of my skirt,  without showing an inch of stomach skin.

My hair was left open, a few locks curled at the bottom, a bit of makeup  on my slightly tired face.

The doorbell rang, a loud noise erupting throughtout the house.

My heart beat fast in excitement.  Slipping on my black ankle boots and grabbing my sling bag, I took a good look in the mirror, pushing all the unwanted thoughts away and walking downstairs.

Noah sat in the living room, talking to my dad. I was glad my family had taken a liking to Noah, it was hard not to though.

"Your date's here" Maddie announced, a smirk playing on her lips.

I blushed, staring at the ground and walked towards him.

"You both have fun! Be safe and no dirty business, please" my mum warned sternly.

"Mom!" I huffed in embarrassed, my cheeks going red.

Everyone laughed at my awkwardness, making my cheeks turn even redder.

"Sorry Noah" I mumbled.

He laughed heartily, making me smile instantly and chuckle.

We walked out, hand in hand and waved goodbye to my family.

Once we fastened our seatbelt, we made our way to the movie theater.

* * *

"That was so good!" I heard people say as they walked out of the theatre, big smiles on their faces; their eyes gleaming.

It was a pretty good movie, after all it was Annabelle:Creation

Noah and I walked to the basement where the car was parked. We were off to a restaurant Noah had wanted to try for a while. It was a 30 minute drive, but with the roads in LA on a summer weekend night, it would take us an hour to reach.

The silence was filled in by the joyous music playing on the radio, as Noah and I sang along.

After a long but fun car ride, we pulled over near a fancy restraunt.

'Aurora' it was called.

We walked in, pushing open the wooden double doors, and taking in the aesthetic of the restaurant-a soft tune playing on the speakers, and quiet murmurs of people engaging with their close ones.

"Woah" I said, my jaw dropping open.

"I know right" Noah said, just as amazed as I was.

"Sir, Ma'am? May I lead you to your seats?" a tall man asked us politely.

We nodded and he led us to our seats, in a warm corner of the restraunt, right next to a window.

"This is gorgeous Noah" I said, looking all over the restaurant, the bright chandeliers not failing to catch my attention.

"I know, just as gorgeous as you babe" he said, winking.

I rolled my eyes, my cheeks turning pink and a smile creeping up on my face.
