Chapter 16

As we walked back to the apartment that my uncle had rented for us my head was rested a bit on his shoulder and his arm was around my waist. He looked down at me and smirked, as he picked me up in his arms, I laughed a bit.
"Put me down you big doofus!" I laughed as he chuckled.
"Nope! Im never going to let you go!" He laughed as my arms we around his neck and I managed to plant a kiss on his cheek. He smiled but something in his eyes looked saddened.
"Hey.. If something is wrong you can tell me you know." I looked at him and he put his fake confused face.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He said as we made it close to the apartment.
"Ok, just saying.. Anyway... Have you tried the tacos?!"
"No, actually, I was looking for the stand but I couldn't find it."
"Hmm.. Well tomorrow I'm going to take you there! They are really good!!" I said as he chuckled a bit.
"Your cute. You know that?"
"Of course I do!" I laughed and he smiled as he rolled is eyes. "But.... Your cuter!" I smiled and he blushed a bit. As we made it to the apartment and he opened the door still holding me. "You know you can put me down right?"
"Yeah, but how do I know your not going to run away from me?" He smirked.
"It's been one year since I have last seen you, you think I'm going to run off?" I gave him the really look and he laughed as he continued to hold me. We took the elevator up to our apartment and he managed to open the door with the key and laid me down on the couch, and he sat down next to me.
"You want to watch some TV?" He asked as he got a remote.
"Sure!"
"What movie or series?"
"Um how about... Big Bang Theory season 11?"
"Why not? I heard it was funny."
"Trust me it is!" I smiled as we started watching it on the flat screen TV.
After about an hour of sitting and watching tv I looked over my shoulder as I felt something heavy on my arm. I looked over to see Laurence fast asleep lying his head on top of my shoulder. I then moved my body so his head rested on my chest and I led back on the couch and fell asleep with him in my arms.

~The Next Day~
"Hmmm...*Yawns*" The smell of waffles fill the air as I make my way to the kitchen.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?"
"Yes, the best sleep I have had in years.." I said as I gave him a hug from behind, my arms wrapped around his waist.
"Would you like some?" He asked as he placed a waffle on a plate and I nodded still half asleep. I then walked over to the drawers and started setting the table. "I didn't know if you would like Strawberry syrup or regular maple so I made both."
"Thank you." I smiled as we both sat down to eat.
"Where would you like to go first?"
"Maybe the beach.. Or one of the rides!"
"Ok."
"And then I'll take you to get tacos!!!"
"Ok! Are they that good though, because i heard there is a big line."
"No, there isn't a super big line because no one really knows where the vendor is cause he moves shop during the day and the week so, one day he can be in one spot and the next he will be on the complete other side of the park!"
"Interesting, lets get finished up and dressed then we can go."
"Ok!" I smiled as I ate the waffles. "These are really good!!"
"Thanks." He smiled as then we finished up then I got showered dressed.
After getting dressed we decided to go on a small walk around the park. As we walked I couldn't help but admire the huge palm trees, the beautiful flowers, and the many creatures that would pop up here or there. My eyes looked upon this one werewolf that had black and grey fur with grey eyes that looked like Ein. Tears started to form as my eyes slowly faded purple with a hint of red and my posture tensed. Laurence could sense this and he took me by the hand and made me face him, his eyes were closed.

"W-was that... was that who I-" I was cut off by a warm pair of lips pressing against my own.

"Shhh...Shhhh... calm down relax.." he held me in his arms. "Is just a man who looks like him, that's all.. shhh... it's ok.." I softly cried as he whipped the tears off my face. "If you want we can go back to the apartment, and relax a bit."

"No!..no.. I promised I would take you to the taco stand." I looked down at a puddle and saw that my eyes were back to normal. "You can open your eyes," I whispered, as his eyes opened, and I put a smile on my face. "Let's go get some tacos!" I smiled and led the way to a bright orange and green taco stand.

"What do you want to get?" Laurence asked as I looked at the sign with the menu.

"I'll have a (favorite/taco)!" I smiled as we made it to the front of the line.

"Two (favorite/tacos) please." Laurence said to the vendor who gave us our tacos. I then sat down and started to eat when I saw someone walk over.

"Hey, Laurence. What's up buddy, long time no see!" The white haired green eyed male said as I turned. My head around and smiled. "Is that, Y/n! We haven't seen you in forever! How was the business meeting up in falcon claw?"

At this point I was kinda confused but went along with it. "It was good, tiring though to say the least. Hi Katlyn!!" I said as I got up and gave her a hug, she seamed a bit tense.

"H-hi..." she looked like she was about to have a mental breakdown when Travis took her by the hand.

"Well we should be going! We were looking for the taco stand where is it by the way?" He asked and I smiled and pointed down the street.

"Go straight till you see Vickie's turn right, then go straight down, the taco stand should be not to far from there." I said as he smiled.

"We can talk some more later Laurence! And thanks (y/n) see ya around!" He said as he pulled Katlyn with him. I looked down at my feet.

"Did I do something wrong? She seemed very tense and upset."

"It's not your fault Katlyn just has a history with werewolves. After you left a werewolf bullied her younger brother Kc, and in the end she was really shaken by it."

"O-oh, But not all werewolves are like that..." my ears dropped a bit my tail hanging low.

"I know, she just needs some time."

"Ok.." I then shook my head and my ears and tail perked up a bit. "H-hey! Do you want to go to the apartment?"

"Um sure why?"

I smirked, "Because I'm tired of all this droopiness, and want to have some fun!"

"O-ok!" His face turned a bit pink as I dragged him to the apartment.

~365 stickers later~
"Done!!" I said giggling, at the unamused Laurence that was covered in stickers. "I told you this was fun!" I laughed as he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah right.."

"What else did you think I wanted to do?" I smirked as he blushed.

"J-just something other than this." He said as I leaned in closer smirking and went up to his ear.

"Like what~," I whispered and smirked as his face turned red. "Did I make the Casanova blush?"

"N-no!" He said as I laughed.

"I'm just messing with ya!" I smiled as he pouted a bit. "Why don't we go to see how aphmau and Arron are doing? Ok?" He smiled and nodded as we then walked off.

Announcement:
I won't be posting that much during the next two weeks, I'm on vacation right now and don't have that much time to be writing as of late. I will probably post once every week, if that. Till I have a proper Schedule set up. I'm sorry or the inconvenience. Hope you all have a great summer, or day.
