The next day I was sent to the cave to make the potions and the doctor was to stay with Ruji. I wanted to stay with him and make sure he was alright.. They didn't give me that choice... I finished making one of the potions, why only one, because it has to be a specific emerald with magic aura, and then the maker of the potion has to have lots of magic energy or else they would pass out. I heard footsteps and I placed the potion in a container.
"One brain washing potion..." I said as the footsteps stopped behind me. "What do you want. Don't you have something better to do like kidnap some other people and then force them into doing your wishes." I said to the masked man.
"I just came in here to make sure that you weren't slacking off.."
"Me, slacking off. Pfft! That's the most absurd thing I have ever heard! I am the Owner of Star Enterprise for Irean's sake I don't just-" I was cut off by a pair of warm lips against mine.
"Tisk... You talk to much, it gets annoying.."
"Who the hell do you think you are!"
"Dark Phoenix, the most loved and crazed member of the Dragon Slayers. I get what I want when I want, and if I want someone to do something they will."
"You damn narcissistic Casanova!"
"So you admit it!"
"Admit what?"
"You think I'm hot don't you."
"Of course not! What do you think I am a moron!"
"For crying out loud, just say it."
"The nerve, of course not!"
"Now why is that?"
"The only man who I ever loved... he... let's just say he's dead..."
"Are you sure about that?" He questioned as he folded his arms.
"Yes... At least in my eyes..."
"Then why do you still love him?" He spat out.
"Because... who wouldn't..." I looked down at the potion. "Sure, I'm upset with him for never trying to find me... And for breaking my heart multiple times... But something about him I love.. He was the kindest, most loving, caring, and compassionate person I knew, other than my own son but I raised him to be that way.The man was handsome too... of course... He made me smile whenever I was sad, He saved me from my demons and monsters, He even for a while made me forget about my past and try to look for a better future... He was my everything... He was like an angel, who saved me from the depths of hell, and now..."
"And now?"
"He is gone, and a part of me with him." I said as I took out my two heart shaped necklaces from the boat so many years ago and opened it. "I always kept this, after all he was the one to give me it on the boat during the war.. He said as long as we had this we would always be together and remember the few bits of our past," I said as I sat on the desk, "And I gave it back to him 6 years ago..." I sighed as I closed them, I looked at the man in front of me who looked like he might cry but I couldn't tell because of the mask. "I don't know why I'm telling you this, after all it has nothing to do with you." I said as I looked down at the potion.
"Take this.." I said handing him the potion and he hesitantly reached out for it. "Take it!" I said as he took it from my hand and I put my hand on my head and started preparing the ingredients for next 5 potions. I watched him leave and wipe something from his face.

Once I was done gathering the ingredients for the potions I made my way back to the house. I walked inside and looked at Ein.
"How is he."
"He is doing better, the doctor says in a few days he will be back to normal health."
"Do you know what potions they used on him?"
"It's a mix, he has bones of steal and Fire Furry.."
"Which is."
"To be able to conjure flames and be immune to it. Unlike my brother he can't turn the flames into objects." He said and nodded. "Oh about your sister... she will be here soon." I looked down and clenched my fists.
"If you hurt her..."
"Hurt her, I take care of my pack, besides I care for her much more than you know." He said as I walked upstairs and sat down on the bed Ruji was hooked up to a machine.
"Mom.."
"Shh..Save your energy..."
"Mom... where is dad.."
"What.?"
"Where is Laurence?" I looked down, he knew... "You miss him.. don't you?" He said and I nodded.
"If only you were able to get to know him." I said as I looked down, Ruji was the only person who I told about my past life as he has the right to know as my son. "It's late did you eat?" He nodded and I kissed his forehead. "Get some rest my love.." I said and I turned off the lights and walked downstairs.
"You should eat.." The man with the mask said.
"Why would my health matter to you..." I said and he went quiet.
"If your going to finish those potions you need to eat."
"And if I don't."
"You will die and leave your son an orphan like yourself..." he said and I walked passed him.
"Fine... I'm doing this for my son, not for you.." I said as I walked to the dining room and ate the pancakes that were left on the table and then I went to my room carefully took out a nightgown and went to the bathroom to get changed. I opened the door, He was standing there his shoulder length light brown hair covered his face and his mask was on the counter. I closed the door before I was able to get a good look at him. I covered my mouth, as the door behind me opened his mask was on and he looked upset.
"How much did you see?" His voice angered and husky.
"Nothing I swear!"
"Good.. if you saw anything more I would have to kill you..." He said and I nodded and walked to the other bathroom and knocked this time before walking in.
