Chapter 29:

Y/n's POV:

I lay on my bed, my body feeling numb, I felt like there was a mountain on top of me... I haven't eaten in the past few days, nor left this room. All I would get up for was to use the bathroom, other then that I would just lay in my bed motionless, holding onto his necklace. I have realized if you don't keep track of the time, it goes by a lot quicker, Lilly has walked in a few times a day to check up on me, all I do is look at her not sayings word... What is there left for me to say? I feel like almost everything I have is gone, all I have is Ruji, but he is not even here, and I don't even know if I can trust even my own sister. So I just sit here in bed just replaying all my memories in my mind. Just remembering how the sun warmth felt on my face, and how the coolness of night brought me joy, remembering the joyful and loving moments of my life, like when I met Zylvana and Aphmau, when I met Laurence and Lexi, and when Ruji came into my life... But it seems like all those memories are no more then a distant dream, one that I cannot relive as all that seems to have been slowly taken from me.
I feel like I'm no more then a shell of the person I once was, that the joy like innocence in my life has been stolen from me. That with every minute I spend knowing that he is not coming back, I don't want to accept it though, who would. In a way I fell like it's my fault that I caused this because I wasn't strong enough, or because I just was to headstrong. I shouldn't have left him the way I did, I shouldn't have gone so quick to judgment, and now he is gone. He is gone, and I can't do anything, maybe I could use a revival potion? Just maybe, but I don't have my book of spells out... I look at my case and sigh.

"What am I doing?" I ask myself as I look at my door, and come to the realization that I could practically walk out of this place because I have my case. Right as i'm about to grab my case the door opens.

"(Y/n), they have Aaron."

"What do you mean they have Aaron?" I say as my eyes widened, as the Black haired female werewolf spoke.

"He went on a rampage in his full ultima form. They captured him soon after...I think they are planning to turn him into a relic..."

"What do you mean?"

"This whole island, it was once the Phoenix drop alliance island."

"You mean the one, where there was a big explosion of light and then millions of people went missing?"

"yes.. But it wasn't an explosion that caused the people to go missing, it was a machine... A machine that uses the souls of entire civilizations as fuel, and a machine that uses souls of beings of great power to form relics, that can either be used to help or hurt."

"So they are planning to use this 'machine' to make Aaron into a weapon of mass destruction?"

"Yes, exactly... So if you have any plan as to how we can save him I'm all ears." 

"But didn't you say that if anything was to go against their plans we would be killed."

"I know, but whats left of our family is at steak so at this point, what do we have to lose?" Lilly said as I looked down and clenched my fists.

"When are they planning to do this?" 

"In a few hours, once the machine is finished."

"Ok, you go  try to stall as much time as you can and make sure that the guards are no where near here, the less distractions the better."

"What are you going to do?"

"I cant tell you." I said and she nodded. "Now go. I need to get ready."
