Chapter 26:

Lilly's POV:

I walk into Michael's office, there I see Ein, Ryan, James, And Mike, well Micheal Jr. "Good, now that we are all here less discuss the Ultima Problem," Michael said as I sat in a chair. "Ein, how is the take over of the werewolf hideout?"
"Smoothly, I had a little fun with it too."
"James, how about the media, are they portraying the Ultimas as instructed?"
"There has been a bit of questioning... but nothing that is much of a concern," James said as he chewed some gum.
"Good, it's good for them to have a few questions just make sure it doesn't get out of hand. Ryan how about the science lab and engineers are they doing what they are told in terms of figuring out the machine?"
"Yes, but so far there isn't anything new."
"Well then make sure they work overtime! We need results soon... Mike has there been any news on the Ultima's whereabouts?"
"Nothing yet, but we have captured his father, along with some of his allies, along with the head of the Ro'mave Corporation," Mike said as he took the cigarette from his mouth and crushed it in an ashtray.
"Good work, my boy, make sure that we have some guards ready for their interrogations. Now for you, Lilly, how is your sister holding up?"
"She just woke up sir."
"Good, and her mental stability?"
"After finding out about the loss of our aunt and cousin, she had a mental breakdown. She also was very soft while mentioning her lover."
"You mean that Laurence fellow? Haha, what a loser, I would love to visit him at his cell and just beat the cra-"
"James, we need him alive. Besides with this new information he can be even more of use to us. For now, Lilly don't mention anything about him to her understand?"
"Understood."
"Also, Ryan make sure the test chamber is ready for him."
"It's almost finished, Michael." He said as Michael nodded.
"When should it be done by?"
"Tomorrow afternoon at the latest."
"Good."
"If you don't mind me asking, what are the tests that you're giving to the boy?" I asked as I heard a chuckle.
"It will give us more information on the potion he has, as it was made by an accident. What we are planning to do is to take a blood sample, and also see him in action while he is using the power."
"I see, also about my sister's third potion. If she finds out about her lover being experimented on, wouldn't that make it activate?" I asked and he shook his head no.
"No, it wouldn't. Your sister is really centered with herself, after all, she experienced a great deal of trauma due to the car accident, and even that didn't activate it... I have a few ideas that could activate it, but if it doesn't work then it would be a waste of time, and probably will be very costly." Ryan chimed in and I nodded.
"Ok, good talk... before you all leave, Lilly tomorrow I want you to check up on Laurence, make sure that he is fit enough for the tests."
"Will do sir," I said as I got up.
"Oh and James I need you to stay for a bit, It's about a new news title for the media. Now you may all go." Michael said as I then got up from my chair and then walked to my apartment section. I walked in and walked over to (Y/n's) room and pried her door open she was sitting on her bed looking at a silver necklace, tears rolling down her face, I then closed the door. 'It's best that I give her some space for now...' i then walked over to my room and called it a night.

Y/n's POV:

After Lilly left I walked to my room and just sat on my bed and closed my eyes.
"Hey..." I heard as I opened my eyes and saw Emily standing next to me, I got up and ran up to her and tried to give her a hug only for my arms to pass right through her. "I'm a 'Soul' remember you can't physically talk to me..."
"Oh sorry... It's been a while."
"Yeah, sorry about what happened... to them..."
"It's ok... I can imagine what Aaron is going through, though."
"Yeah, I just need to warn you, something bad is going to happen soon... Really bad, and when it happens I need to know that you trust me ok?"
"Ok? What's going to happen, I don't know what can be worse than this."
"I can't tell you, I'm not allowed to say what specifically. But I need to know that you trust me ok?"
"Ok, I trust you... Can't you give me a hint though, so I can be prepared?"
"Hmmm... I don't think see why not?" She said as then she walked over to me and touched my head, and then I saw that my locket was broken in half.
"W-what is that supposed to mean..?" I asked as tears streamed down my face.
"I'm sorry..." she said as then I woke up in bed crying. I took out Laurence's locket and just stared at it...
