Chapter 25:

Y/n's POV

I woke up in a dark room, 'where am I?' I thought as the door opened and light pearled through, I heard a flick of a switch and the room became bright. I shielded my eyes, and as I opened them I saw that I was in a room with gold and marble walls. The floor was made of 4 different types of wood in a beautiful pattern, and the bed that I laid on had beautiful red and gold satin sheets.
"God, this looks expensive..." I said as Lilly walked in.
"Yes it is, but I wanted to give you the finest as your going to be staying here, the only one that is better is my own and Micheals, but he has a completely different room. I'm glad you are awake though, you have been asleep for a few days, oh and here, it's your case, it went through inspection and had nothing inside so they said I could give it back to you."  She said as she placed the case on the wooden bead side table beside me.
"How long have I been out for?"
"About a week, if I knew it would knock you out for that long I would have given you a smaller dosage... You must be hungry though, is there anything that you would like?"
"Yes, to see Laurence... To tell him I'm sorry that I left, to make sure he is ok..."
"Hmm, well I haven't seen a Laurence around here... But care to tell me about him?" She asked as she sat down on the bed beside me.

"Well I officially met him face to face in high school, but I have known him since about the 6th grade, we used to play mine crafters together. We normally would play sky wars, and when he fell into the void, which happened a lot, to be honest, he would end up cursing in the chat. This would lead him to get temp ban so eventually, I gave him my number so we could text to fill the time. After finishing middle school I went to go to Phoenix Drop high, and my first kiss with him, I think was at a slumber party, I don't know part of it is hazy. We didn't start dating till around the end of freshman year, and by then I had to move because of reasons... I didn't want to go, but I didn't want to risk the lives of anyone I knew or loved so I left. I hated being away from him, from all of them, the only person whom I kept in touch with was Lexi, and if I really did sleep for 5 days, that means her wedding has probably already passed... Some friend I am... When I lived in O'hkasis, I used to look up at the stars and imagine that he was there with me. Now all I wish is to be held in his arms... I miss him... I miss him so much, his eyes, his smell, his laugh, that little smirk of his, I miss it all." I said as I started sobbing. "When I find him I want to run up to him, give him a hug, maybe even a kiss, and tell him how much I love him and tell him that I'm so sorry for leaving him, I'm so sorry for everything..." I felt a warm pair of arms hold me in a hug.
"Don't worry... it will be ok, I'll give you some space ok?" She said and I nodded, then she got off of the bed and walked out. I just laid on my bed sobbing.
"What am I going to do? Maybe I can get a mirror and ask Emily for help..." I asked myself as I brushed the tears from my face. "Even if I did ask Emily for help, I don't even know where I am." I thought as I got up from the bed and grabbed my case, even if the room was big enough if I got caught it would be the end of me. I waited a bit then snuck out of my room into the kitchen area, then I snuck down a hall before stopping in my tracks I as heard the T.V play.

"During the ransack of a hotel suite to capture the Ultima, Mellisa Lycian, and Rachel Lycian were both fatally shot, there has been no sign of the Ultima or any of his accomplices."   I fell to the floor, I felt like a piece of me was torn, broken...
"....Auntie Rachel...MELLISA!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I fell down to the floor sobbing. "Arron... I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry..." I cried as I heard footsteps behind me. "You knew about this... didn't you..."
"Yes, I did... I was going to tell you, but I didn't want to do it right away as I was afraid with you being asleep for so long that you would be put in a shock, and get a heart attack due to the stress."
"And you didn't do anything to stop it! They are your family too!"
"There was nothing for me to do, I was on a different mission at the time, there was no way that I could have ever known that that was going to happen if I did I would do everything in my power to make sure that they were ok... Let's sit down on the couch and we can talk."
"No! I want to leave, to find my friends, family! I can't stay here, I'm going to find Micheal and bring him to justice! Even if it kills me!" I cried.
"(Y/n) calm down! I know, I know... Trust me I have thought of every possible way to rid him from existence, but it isn't that simple, he has a power that allows him to control a person, like a puppet on strings."
"I don't care..."
"(Y/n) your not thinking clearly... I have to go, when I'm back we can talk more about this ok?"
"Fine..."
