Y/n's Pov:
The next morning I woke up and I felt something, like something had changed even though everything seemed tge same. Laurence was still asleep so I wrote a note saying I would be back. I put on a (f/c) hoodie and shorts, along with some sneakers and ran over to Aphmau and Aaron's apartment. The door was open so I walked inside.
"Hey (Y/n), what are you doing so early?" Aaron said out of nowhere, causing me to jump a bit.
"I dont know.. Something doesn't feel right, I wanted to see if aphmau was ok."
"Erm. She is sick! And she doesn't want anyone to get sick so- what are you doing!?" He said as I ran up the stairs I heard him calling out for me but I tuned him out. 'I felt something weird and now my sister is sick, I wonder.." I slowly opened the door.
"Y-y/n...? What.. Are you doing here..?" Aphmau said but by how she looked and spoke I could tell she was not feeling good.
"I came to see if your ok!" I said a bit worried, as I walked closer to her and I touched her head when I realized something about her aura has changed, my eyes widened as i finally realized what has happened. "I.. Im so sorry.. Ill go make you some jasmine tea.." I said as I walked out of the room and looked at Aaron who was outside the door. "You turned her.. Didn't you?" I asked and he nodded. "I hope you know what you're doing.. Im going to make her some tea.."
"(Y/n) I know that you are doubting my choice on this, but I took the time to consider, and if anything was to happen to her.. Because of my eyes.. I could never forgive myself..."
"I..I know.." I said looking down. "Im just scared... What if everyone finds out that you, because of.."
"If they find out, then I will be fine. I rather them find out, then have her hurt."
"I understand that..." My ears went flat against my head.
"Are you planning to turn him?" He said as I looked down.
"I dont know, I need more time to think." I said as o walked over to the kitchen counter and made some jasmine tea for aph, I gave it to Aaron to give it to her cause Laurence was probably awake by now and I didn't want him to start worrying.
On the way back to the apartment I bought some groceries, because the fridge was mainly empty. I walked into the apartment building as I got to my floor I saw a young wolf being chased by Laurence, and Melissa?
"Ruji..!?" I asked as next thing I know I swiftly put the groceries on the small table besides the mirror, before being pinned down by the young wolf. He just stared at me, and then he sat down on me stomach. "Ruji.. Is that you?" I said as the wolf nodded, and I managed to give him a hug and he transformed into his werewolf form, and gave me a hug.
"Mom..." He said as I was still hugging him. "Your kinda squeezing me to death.." He said as I let go.
"Oh! Sorry!" I said as I let go. "Did you get my letters?"
"Yep." He said as he looked down.. "Mom.."
"Yes?"
"Please.. Please dont leave me.." He said and I nodded. "Please don't do things to hurt yourself... Your on your last life, after it you have nothing left." He said and I nodded his eyes on the brink of tears. As I gave him a hug, "I need you to promise me that you won't."
"I.. I promise." I said, knowing that that may turn into a lie, as I would do anything to protect him. "So why dont we go to the beach? Or do you want to go on one of the rides?"
"Aunt Melissa took me to the beach yesterday, so can we go on one of the rides?" He asked and I nodded.
"Sure thing!" I said as we both got up. "Do you guys want to come?" I asked Melissa and Laurence.
"Why not!!" Melissa said as Laurence walked up to me and held my hand and we all walked to the theme park.
"Can we go on the bumper cars first?" Ruji asked as I nodded and we went to wait in the line.
After going on a few rides we went to a restaurant for lunch because we were all tired and hungry. I walked up to the front desk. "Hi can we get a table for four?"
"I'm sorry but we dont serve your kind here..." The waiter said.
"I dont understand?"
"We dont serve werewolves. Especially since what happened last weak when a group of them trashed the place."
"That isn't fair!" Ruji complain and I hugged him.
"I know sweetheart.. I know, but we have to do what he says even if its not right." I said and Ruji nodded while Laurence looked rather sad.
"Mom I thought the war against tula happened many years ago, then why does this still happen?"
"Because.. Werewolves are considered to be more hotheaded then humans, and meifwas, sure not all werewolves are like that, but many people give us that stereotype. But we can't go around being upset because of it, we just go on and make the best out of it." I said and Laurence looked down.
"I'm sorry." He said and I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Its ok, its not your fault. Its just the way that things are." I said and shrugged.
"How are you always so calm about this, when they treat you differently?"
"I got used to it I guess." I said as we walked to a different restaurant.
