The trio settled in an Italian restaurant. Rick was working on figuring out who hacked his portal gun while Lily worked to make sure no one could ever do it to hers.... again. Morty just kind of sat there. Lily gave him a phone stick to make sure he was eating.

"The Ricks are probably going to waste time by messing with Jerry. They won't be able to help themselves." Lily said as she pulled out her screwdriver.

"But as soon as they get bored, they'll be onto us." Rick stated. The waiter brought their food and Rick asked for more phone sticks.

"You know, Rick and Grandma, when I first saw all those Ricks, Lilys and Mortys, I thought 'Gee, that kind of devalues our bond,' but then I realize that it just means that our relationship must be pretty special to span over all those different timelines." Morty said. Lily smiled at her grandson.

"Yeah, it has to be that way. You're a camouflage." Rick said nonchalantly. Lily glared at him.

"Camouflage? What- What- What are you talking about, Rick?" Morty asked, starting to sound a little hurt.

"Ricks and Lilys have a very distinct and traceable brainwave due to our geniuses. Best way to hide from an enemy's radar is to stand near someone with complementary brain waves to make ours invisible." Rick drew out his pencil. "You see, when a Rick stands near a Morty, the genius wave is canceled out by the *coughs* Morty wave."

"Does Grandma need to stand near a Morty?" Morty asked, looking at his grandma. It broke Lily's heart to see her grandson so hurt by what her ex-husband said.

"No, sweetheart, I don't. A few thousand of us Lilys found a way to cover our tracks without having to use our grandsons. Ricks don't support the idea." Lily told him. This made Morty smile slightly.

"Yeah, well, that's because necklaces like that couldn't possibly work and it looks pretty stupid." Rick said. Lily glared more. Morty hadn't noticed the necklace until now.

"It does work and it's better than putting our grandson in danger which you don't seem to care about

"It does work and it's better than putting our grandson in danger which you don't seem to care about." Lily snapped. Rick just shrugged her off and his portal gun started beeping.

"Oh, shit, dog! My portal gun was hacked remotely." Rick said.

"Obviously, by the real killer." Lily replied.

"I was able to trace the signal. Come on, let's go." Rick said as they all stood up. As they did, they notice a Guard Rick, Guard Lily, and Guard Morty all standing there. Lily began to disguise one of the human chairs that looked like her. Rick and Morty followed her lead. The three of them hopped into the Guards' car as Rick and Lily flipped them off. Rick hopped in the driver's seat and took off. They stopped at a space outlet and got the clothes that they took off.

"Hey, it's a good thing that space outlet had lab coats and your favorite kind of shirt in stock, huh, Morty?" Rick said, trying to cheer up his grandson as Morty and Lily grumpily looked out the window.
