Lily was listening to music in the backseat of Rick's ship. He was teaching Morty how to drive it while Jerry just sat there. Lily just stared out the window. She wasn't exactly feeling herself since she talked to Morty. She watched as planets went by as Morty shakily flew the ship. She saw out the corner of her eye Rick pointing to something on the left. She took her headphones off just as she heard Rick's phone ring.
"Yeah. Yeah. I have it. Where do you want to meet?" Rick asked the other person on the phone. He hung up. "Alright, Morty, lesson is over. We got some business to attend to a few light minutes South of here."
"Oh, you use still use South in space?" Jerry asked. Rick must have forgotten Jerry was back there cause he jumped, rocking the ship.
"Woah, Jesus, Jerry! What the hell are you doing here!?" Rick asked.
"What are you talking about? We agreed that a boy's father should be present when he's learning to drive." Jerry reminded him.
"I guess I remember that. Geez, and you've just been back there this whole time. Wow." Rick said. Jerry looked down, being a little disappointed.
"Okay, detour, Morty. Head to these coordinates." Lily said, putting it in the GPS for him.
"Oh, we're going on an adventure!" Jerry said, sounding excited.
"Yeeeeep." Rick said. Morty drove to a blank space.
"This is where we're going??" Morty asked.
"Nope." Lily said. An asteroid appeared. "This is."
"You can park in the handicap spot, Morty. Anything less than 8 limbs is considered disabled here." Rick said as Morty landed roughly. They all climbed out and walked into a building. A lizard dude handed Rick a clipboard. Lily looked around, seeing a few other Ricks and Mortys. She noticed they were taking occasional glances over at her and Rick as they were speaking in hush tones. As she glanced around the room, she noticed she was the only Lily there.
"You created a daycare for my dad?" Morty asked, snapping Lily out of her thoughts.
"Are you kidding? I wish I had this idea. Well, I did have this idea. I wish I was the version of me that had this idea. That guy is rich." Rick said, finishing up the paperwork.
"Besides, sweetie, Jerrys tend not to last more than five minutes off Earth. This is a totally unregistered cross-tempural asteroid. Here he can romp and play with other Jerrys. Couldn't be safer." Lily said as Rick took the ticket. As they walked out, Rick handed Morty the ticket.
"Here, Morty, hang onto this. That number is your dad. If you lose it, we're not gonna be able to get him back." Rick said. They got back in the car and Rick let Morty drive. They made it to the garage.
"Wait here." Rick said.
"I want to come with." Morty said.
"Don't come with. It's boring. I-It's business stuff." Rick said.
"Who does business in a garage? Seems shady?" Morty said.
"Oh, like a four wall office isn't shady? Do you know what they do in Wall Street, Morty? Just a bunch business men in a room, dipping their balls in cocaine and just smearing them all over each other." Lily said.
"You know, Grandpa goes around and does his business in public because grandpa isn't shady." Someone knocked on the window. "Oh crap." Rick rolled it down. Lily looked and stopped herself from making a face. She didn't like seeing any sort of Glomformites.
"Hey, Rick!" He laughed."Here you go. 3,000 flurboobs. Uh, do you have the weapon?"
"Can- Can we please? This is my grandson, Morty." Rick said. Lily sat back to watch everything.
