Lily was brushing out her hair, trying to keep her mind off of what today was. She hummed as she listened to her music. She was working on pulling up her hair when her music was cut off by hearing her phone ring. She put her scrunchie in her mouth before pulling up a screen, answering the phone.

"Hello?" She said as she fixed her hair and finished pulling it up.

"Hey, I'm outside," Rick said. Lily moved the screen to where she can pull him up on camera.

"What? Can't portal in here?" She asked, smirking. He gave her a look.

"You know I can't," He said. She hit a button and unlocked the door.

"Come on in, and don't touch anything." She closed the screen and finished pulling up her hair. She grabbed her lab coat and put it on while she walked out. She went to the living room and saw Rick looking around.

"Okay, I'm ready. Let's go," She said. He looked at her and smiled a bit.

"Are you sure you want to do this today? I know it's your-"

"I'd rather do it today to distract myself than sit here and get drunk. Now let's go before I change my mind." He shook his head and chuckled.

"Okay, come on." He grabbed her hand and walked with her out of her house. She locked everything down and cloaked it . He opened her door for her and she rolled her eyes playfully.

"Rick, we both know you're not a gentleman." She teased as she got in.

"No, I'm not, but I'm trying." He closed the door and got in. She looked around and noticed he finally cleaned up the bottles in his ship.

"You cleaned up the ship?" She asked him as he got in.

"Yeah. I know today's rough for you and I'm trying not to piss you off, so it was the least I could do," He shrugged as he started up the ship. Lily smiled a bit and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you." He looked at her and smiled back.

"You're welcome." He took off. As he flew, they both talked about a couple of ideas they had for stuff they want to work on.

"Rick, for that, you would have to get a Death crystal and it's highly dangerous," Lily said.

"I know, but it'll be worth it." Rick said.

"You better not take Morty with you. I don't want him going into a place like that," She said, looking out the window. Rick didn't say anything back, but kept going.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going yet?" Lily asked.

"Nope. You'll find out in a bit," He said, winking at her.

"Fine. Keep your secrets," She said, smiling a bit. They went back to talking about invention ideas until she saw them approaching a planet. As Rick flew into the atmosphere, she saw a dense forest with beautiful purple trees. He kept flying and she saw a meadow in the middle of the forest. Lily saw the planet's ocean and Rick started to land the ship on the beach. They both got out and she looked at the ocean.

"Wow... it's so peaceful here..." Lily said, before looking behind her at Rick. He was digging in the trunk and he pulled out a basket and a couple of glasses.

"Picnic?" He asked, chuckling. Lily shook her head playfully and smiled. She helped him get everything set up and she looked around.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to be out in the open like this?" Lily asked, looking at him.

"It'll be fine, Lil. The federation hasn't been by this planet for years." Rick said, getting the last few things out.

"Well, I'm not chancing it," She said, pulling out a cloaking device. She set the radius, set it on Rick's ship, and turned it on. When she saw the dome set up around them, she relaxed. She didn't realize how tense she was. Rick saw it and looked at her.
