"Akiko!" yelled my mother. I stumbled to get downstairs for breakfast. My clan was known for their excellence in Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and especially Ninjutsu. My brother, Mikio Akuma, was a full chunin, and my sister, Seika, was turning into a jounin today. I am somehow... different. I was born with a strong white chakra. I had begged my parents to make me a genin, but they were always denying my wishes. As I got into the kitchen, my family was covered in silence and uncertainty. It was quite unusual. Mikio got up to say that he had to go on a mission. Seika said nothing. "Nii-chan, can you help me with my kunai throwing?" I asked. Seika stood up from her chair, ruffled my scarlet hair, and walked to the door, "Sorry Akiko, not today." I walked out to follow her, but Seika had gone. I ran past the Akuma streets. Everybody thought that Akiko would grow up to become Mikio or Seika. It always saddened me that nobody accepted me for who I really was.
I ran toward the Sacred Akuma Training Grounds. I had a special Kekkei Genkai, that my clan thought was terrifying. My eyes could glow red and I could do anything, even kill, with my Aniran eye. I used it when I was scared or angry, but I could control it. I loved the Sacred Training Grounds, because it made me feel... free. I could do anything, and nobody could tell me who I had to be. I heard a small rustling in the bushes behind me. I pulled out a kunai I had stolen from Mikio a long time ago. My Aniran was unleashed and I could barely hang on to the kunai. Out of the bushes... appeared a small pup. It wasn't too big, but it wasn't small. It was white and it looked like it's eyes were closed. I closed my Aniran and reached for the pup. I then saw a young boy come out of the bushes. He looked at me like I was a freak. His cheeks had marks that looked like fangs. "Hiya!" he yelled at last. The pup licked my face and I tried to pull him away. The boy smiled and said, "My name's Kiba, and the pup you're holding is Akamaru." Akamaru?. He's not even red. I smiled at him and replied, "My name's Akiko Akuma." He looked at me for a long time and smiled. We trained and talked for a long time until it was time for me to go home.
I had walked a long way to get home, when I saw that all the lights were out. Huh? It was still too early for all of the lights to be out. I looked around my clan's streets. I walked everywhere just to see one soul awake. I turned a corner and saw blood. Lots of it. I fell to my knees as I saw my cousins' faces, my uncles, my aunts, etc. I saw lifeless bodies everywhere. I covered my mouth to choke back a cry. I ran home. Please don't be dead. Please, please. I finally saw my house and my heart nearly skipped a beat as I got inside. I nearly jumped all the footsteps to see if my family was alive. I opened the door to my parent's room, and I saw my mother, my father, and Mikio tied up. There was a shadow behind them. It got closer and I could see... that it was Seika. "Seika! Help me untie Mom and Dad! You can untie Mikio while I get started..." Seika looked at me, differently. I then realized why she looked at me like that. She... No! No! No! She couldn't have! I covered my mouth again to hold a cry. She killed the others. I stood there, looking into my sister's traitorous eyes. I saw her lift up a sword from her belt. No... No! In seconds, she struck all three of them to the ground. I fell to my knees. I got the strength to get up and run. I ran until I was brought down my sister's kunais. They cut me deeply and I landed on the floor. Seika grabbed my collar and whispered, "What a shame, you could've been better dead. Don't you think, bakimono (freak)?" I looked into her eyes and I felt something inside me snap. I felt my white chakra mix into something stronger. I felt as if I were growing tails out of my body. My teeth grew sharper. Seika laughed like a freak, "Finally, I get to avenge my mother, who was killed in your hands. Infinite Tailed beast." I felt my anger get strong, and suddenly I had a thirst for blood. Seika's blood. I fought her until I was forced to only run. I ran until I saw a gate. On the gate I read Konoha. I read the words and then fell flat on the floor.
I woke up in a hospital, I only wished that everything was just a bad dream. I looked around and I had no idea where I was. I saw a boy with raven hair asleep right next to me. I wondered if he had been through the same thing I had been through. He looked so peaceful, but he tossed and turned as if he were having a bad memory. I looked around and couldn't remember where I was. A young girl with pink hair sat on my bed. She turned to me and stood up, "S-sorry, I didn't know you were there." I managed to smile, but I was too cut up to keep it up. She looked at the boy like she was in a dream. I looked at her and noticed a familar pup come into the room. "Akamaru!" I screamed, happily. Wait...If Akamaru is here, where's Kiba? I looked around, and when I turned, "Looking for me?" I heard. I nearly fell out of my hospital bed. Kiba laughed, more like barked. Akamaru leapt into my hands and began licking my face. The pink haired girl stared at me like it was cute to have a dog lick your face. She introduced herself, between laughs, "My name's Sakura Haruno, who are you?" I pulled Akamaru away from me and responded, "Akiko Akuma." She stared at me, firmly. Kiba grabbed Akamaru, but the pup did not want to get out of my arms. To change the subject, I asked, "Who's he?" I pointed to the boy with raven hair. Sakura blushed, and Kiba rolled his eyes. "That's Sasuke Uchiha, last of his clan," answered Kiba. I looked at Sasuke closely. He was an Uchiha? I thought everyone in that clan died a week ago. Kiba noticed me staring at Sasuke and added, "He's been unconcious for over a week." I blinked and looked away from him. I tried to sit up, but the cuts felt like they were holding me down. I slipped as I tried to sit up, and Akamaru got heavy to carry. Kiba carefully lifted Akamaru out of my arms and slipped him under his. Sakura looked away from Sasuke and into my direction. "A boy brought you here you know," she said. I blinked, confused. Someone brought me here? I tried to remember something in my mind. I saw a memory, but it was hazy. A young boy with blinding yellow hair, whiskers, and blue eyes carried me on his back to the hospital. That's all. I looked at Sakura and asked, "Why're you here then?" Sakura blushed. "I came to see Sasuke-kun." she confessed. I laughed softly, so nobody would hear.
It took me a long time to recover, but after the visits from Kiba and Sakura, I felt like I was getting stronger. I got out of the hospital with Kiba to see the village. It was amazing, even the rocks that have the faces of the old Hokages. Every single Hokage had its amazing story, especially the Fourth Hokage. He saved the village from the Nine Tailed Fox. I didn't see Kiba anywhere so I walked on my own. I walked and walked until I bumped into a boy with yellow hair, whiskers, and blue eyes. I completely recognized him. "Eh? It's you!" we both shouted at each other. The boy then began to slightly blush. I started to grin. The boy held out one hand and put his other hand around his head. "Name's Naruto Uzumaki! One day I'll become Hokage, believe it!" he yelled. I shook his hand and replied, "Akiko Akuma, future avenger for the Leaf!" We both grinned, and we walked together all around Konoha together. A group of boys walked over to Naruto and started picking on him. I recognized one of the boys, Kiba, but I didn't want to see what they did to Naruto. They called him many disgusting names, and pushed him around. Poor Naruto was crying and they made more fun of him. When they called him a "Failure to the Leaf", and "Never Be Able To Achieve Hokage If He Keeps Crying," I totally snapped. There were five boys, and I only had two hands. I used a cool jutsu I had worked on with Kiba. I used and three tails came out of me. Ok, that sounded weird. But it's true. With the tails, I grabbed those bullies by their collars, (yes they had collars), and looked at them one by one. When I saw Kiba, I instantly looked at the other one next to him. I put them down (threw them) and yelled, "How dare you call him that! He's capable of anything, even surpassing all of you. Ever thought about... THAT!?!?" I lost it, completely. All the boys looked down at the floor, guilty. Without thinking, I punched them all on the heads. Pretty Darn Hard. I was about to strike again, when Naruto grabbed my hand. "Just don't." he said. I put my hand down and walked away from the group of boys.
I got ready for my first day at the Academy, Hokage's orders. I put on a shirt and skirt. I grabbed my backpack and got a little toast for breakfast. "Naruto! Come on!" I yelled. Yes, the Hokage thought that since we were friends, we should live together. Weird, right? I could hear Naruto barely get out of bed. I grumbled, only because I don't like waiting. "Hurry up, " I shouted, "Or else I'm leaving without you!" That shocked him, because he HATES being left behind. I heard him rustling and show up a few steps away from me. I heated ramen, (with my finger), and served it to him. He slurped it all, and we ran toward the Academy. I looked at Naruto once we were in the hallway, and he told me to wait outside the door. Naruto went inside, and I waited outside. Then, the sensei announced, "We have a new student today." The whole classroom leaped for joy. "Come in," he told me. I came inside, and the entire class stared at me. I smiled as I walked toward the teacher. The teacher shook my hand and introduced me to the class, "This is Akiko Akuma, and she will be in our class for the next few years." All the kids shifted when they heard that I was going to stay. All but one. "Hn." (You know who this is.) "Sasuke, don't be rude," yelled the teacher. Again, Sasuke did the same thing. I shrugged it off and the teacher introduced himself. He was Iruka-sensei. Ok, first teacher. Nice. Guess that I'll be staying in Konoha for a few years.
