It was the most exciting day of my life... well, I would soon find that out. At the moment, I was sitting on my couch, reading a book. Suddenly, my phone buzzed.
I picked it up and saw that it was a text from Konnor.
<3 Konnor: Hey, this is Cheyenne, right?
Cheyenne: Yes.
<3 Konnor: Do you want to go to the dance with me?
Cheyenne: Was this message meant for me?
<3 Konnor: You are Cheyenne, right?!
Cheyenne: Yes!
<3 Konnor: Then this message was meant for you. Now, is it a yes or no. Will you be my date to the dance the Friday after next?
Cheyenne: Sure.
Yeah, I said sure. Not YESSSSSSSSS or not WILL YOU DATE MEEEEEEEEEEE?! Or any of that stuff. Wait, what if he thinks I didn't really want to go when I said sure. After I said sure I got back a text that said ok. What kind of ok? The one you say with a sigh, or a glare? The one you say with a smile on your face or with a happy, excited voice? The ok you say with clenched fists ready to beat the crud out of someone? (Who knows, he could be mad at me!) What kind of ok was it? But if I ask him, he will know I'm super concerned about it! Ughhhh, what do I do?
KONNORS POV:
What kind of sure did she mean? The kind where she was like "I guess, sure." Or did she say "Sure!" in a high-pitched voice that tells how excited she is. Or is she mad at me? Maybe for not asking her sooner or maybe she wanted to go with someone else, but I asked her first. I almost text her I'm sorry after the ok I sent, but what if she thinks I'm thinking too much about it and decides not to go with me?
I guess I will just have to talk to her at school tomorrow.
