I was put in a group with TJ, Linda and that Grayson dude for a science board game. I sat next to TJ, and Linda day on the other side of me. Grayson and I were like the barriers between the two. I got to sit next to TJ, which was kind of awkward. I could tell he felt awkward too.
During the board game I mainly whispered to him about the dance. "What are you going to wear?" He asked. "I'm not sure yet. What about you?" I replied. "I'm not really sure either." TJ said, and we both laughed.
Linda and Grayson looked extremely uncomfortable, so I stopped laughing and focused on the board game. And then I remembered the conversation I had heard from Linda and TJ.
"TJ," I asked, "what do you like about me?" "What do you mean?" "What... I don't know, personality traits?" I said. "Everyone, go back to your tables and clean up the board games! The bell's about to ring!" The teacher called. TJ and I went back to our own tables.
Boy, how I hated cliffhangers.
