I was hanging around the food table when I saw Noah. He was in the corner, drinking apple cider. I approached him, and he looked up at me. "Oh, hi Everest." He said sadly.
"Noah, remember that one time when you FaceTimed me?" "Yeah, why?" "Well...," I take a deep breath, "you forgot to turn it off and I heard you tell Konnor that you had a crush on me." I said. "I accidentally read your diary." Noah admits.
"Wait a sec... WHAT?!" We both screamed at the same time. "So you know I like you?" Noah asked. "And you know I like you?" I asked. We both nodded simultaneously. "So... now what." I said.
Noah's phone suddenly rang, and he picked it up, "Yeah, okay." Noah said. He put his phone back in his pocket. "I gotta go." He said, walking away, "I'll talk to you later." Then he came back, "Why were you avoiding me the other day?" He asked. "I was trying to get over you." I said sheepishly. Noah looks at me weirdly, "You are one weird girl." He laughs and walks away, leaving me standing by the water fountain.
