Veronica and I were setting up  meet the new transfers to Riverdale. Veronica could see me tense up

Well let's get to know me a bit. I'm April McCoy, Josie's younger sister and Mayor McCoys youngest daughter, I'm a shy girl who rarely speaks up and if anything bothers me I'm most likely to keep quiet. Guys never go for me but for my sister, so my actions today and the next week really had everyone shook

"Chill A, their just people" V said trying to calm me, I had a fear of the Serpents since the whole Archie fight
"I kn-" I was cut off by them walking through the door jackets and all.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear" I thought as they made their way to the table
"Hi welcome to Riverdale...." Veronica began as I locked eyes with the tallest one there, he had a hardened expression but with the worlds softest eyes, and that hair! God I just wanna-
"A" Veronica nudged me as everyone's attention averted to me
"Oh, here are your class schedules, locker arrangements and extra curricular activities, I hope you guys have an awesome day! If you need anything just call me or V" I smiled

Everyone went to the student lounge as we all started introducing ourselves
"Forgarty, but most people call me Fangs" Fangs said looking at Kevin, but just as he was about to open is mouth Principal Weatherbee called us all 

"Who dare deface our school seal!?" He said enraged
"This is what they do Principle Weatherbee, they tag their turf" Reggie said smugly
"Really Reggie how transparent could you be!" Veronica sneered as he smirked
"That's it! I will not tolerate any gang behavior! No more jackets, all tattoos to be covered"
"What!" Everyone said shocked
"But principle Weatherbee, the Jackets are a way they identify themselves, it's their family symbol. You're just taking their identity away!" I said enraged
"Well that's their fault Miss McCoy" he said
"So their choices are conform or be cast out?" You debated
"I will no longer have this debate with you Miss McCoy, or would you like to be suspended"
"Well I guess I'm suspended then" you said crossing your arms as he walked away

"You!" You said pointing to Reggie
"Don't worry I got this princess" Sweetpea said stepping forward before delivering a punch to Reggie's face

"Principle Weatherbee?" I said walking in his office
"I thought you were suspended Miss McCoy" he said not looking up
"I am but before I leave please let them wear their jackets, the Sepents arn't a gang but a family! They have each other's backs and you taking their jackets you're stripping them of their identities" I begged
He looked up at me...

"Guys!" I said busting through the door where the serpents were meeting
"Oh am I inturpting?"
"Kind-"
"Shut it Fangs, speak princess" Sweetpea inturpted
"Weatherbee said you guys can wear your jackets! Tattoos must still be covered though" I smiled before walking out

During the day you caught Sweetpea staring at you and all you could do was blush like a little girl. I have to be honest though he's hot as fuck!

"Bye V, we'll talk later" I said walking off to my car
"Wait up!" You heard a voice call, you turned to find the tall serpent who had been eyeing you the whole day running towards you
"Hey, need my help already?" You smiled as he looked down and laughed
"Yeah, I need help with my Spanish" he said meeting your eyes
"Oh! No problem, I'll meet you at your place cause my mother won't be the happiest with letting you over" I smiled
"Thanks April"
"Wait how do you know my name? I don't recall telling you"
"Well A) Mr Garcia told me to ask April since she is the best student and B) it isn't hard to know the cutest girl in schools name princess" I blushed at the name
"The names Sweetpea by the way"
"Sweetpea? I like it" I smiled

We exchanged numbers and that night I couldn't stop thinking about the serpent who slithered his way into my heart
