pacing up and down, you ran your fingers through your hair for the thousandth time in a minute.

"Jesus, take a seat Y/N, you're going to burn a hole into the ground" Charles half joked
"Betty left here with thousands of dollars, food, water and a bus over to Edgars over 18 hours ago and hasn't reported back to us and all you're worried about is me burning a damn hole into the ground!" you snapped
"yes, we're on the 30th floor" Charles answered unfazed by your temper

you sighed, taking a seat on the sofa by the window. worry pulsed through your body as you searched for possible ways to save your best friend from the predicament she'd gotten herself in. Chewing on your bottom lip you snapped your fingers as an idea blinked in your head

"i think i have a plan" you smirked

"Check in, Check in 1,2,3 Y/n can you hear me?" Charles said into your ear pice
"loud and clear Charles" you smirked
"you know the code word if you need back up okay-
"yes, jesus we've been through this multiple times" you sighed
"goodluck" Charles said finally

you nodded as if to bring yourself to attention. taking deep breaths as you walked up to the front door. ringing the bell once. you recited then plan as you awaited Evelyn to open the door.

"10 cheese pizzas and- oh hi Evelyn. how have you been doing?" you asked
"Y/N. where the hell is our pizza guy" she seethed
"i'm afraid you're going to have to settle for me" you smiled

before Evelyn could finish you backed her up, covering her mouth as you pulled out the gun Charles had reluctantly given you.

"listen here, i don't have time for your games, you're going to lead me to Betty and i'm going to take her back. got it?" you said slowly
"and if i refuse?" she smirked
"well then i'll have no choice but to blow your brains out" you threatened
"cute. but you would never" Evelyn taunted

you smiled at her, removing your hands from her and stepping back. as she fixed herself you shot her in the foot. making her scream out in pain

"your head is next if you don't take me to Betty" you smirked

Evelyn agreed, hopping along as she lead you to where Betty was. you gasped as you untied your best friend and her mom in a rush

"Jesus Y/N! why are you here"Betty frantically asked
"you know your thank you's sound weird" you smiled hugging your best friend "i'm glad you're both okay"
"well, what happened to her?" Alice asked pointing to Evelyn
"she ran her mouth" you shrugged
"time we put an end to Edgar Evernever" Betty said

agreeing to stay behind. Alice and Betty went ahead to deal with Edgar. going on and on about his plans about escaping before a fight ensued between the 3. Edgar had beaten Alice and had Betty in a choke hold

"you let go of my best friend!" you yelled pointing the gun at him
"oh dear. i'd say don't shoot but you have so much to lose if you do" he smirked
"you took my boyfriend and turned him into a farmie. i have nothing to lose. and that make me dangerous" you concluded before embedding a bullet him Edgar's skull

Betty thanked you before going to help the farmies on the bus. you assisting until you spotted a familiar pair of eyes gazing at you. you looked down in hopes to gather your feelings but failed when you were embraced. taking a nose full of the smell you missed so dearly you sobbed into your boyfriends shoulder

💚*back at home

"I made chicken soup. figured you'd want something homemade after... that" you said uneasily
"thanks" Fangs said quietly

you nodded your head before proceeding to the exit of the bedroom.

"wait" Fangs said making you turn around. looking at him in the eye you could almost hear the apologies he was screaming out at you. he was almost explaining to you why he had left you for the farm without saying a word

"i'm so sorry" he began
"look Fangs, i know what the farm was offering. i heard it all trust me but if i wasn't making you happy then-
"no no no. i don't ever want you to think you that you're not making me happy" he said putting his hand over yours
"then what? what is it?" you whispered. afraid of the answer
"i- i'm gay" Fangs said

you were rendered speechless. not out of hatred or anything but pure shock. that your own boyfriend- well ex boyfriend felt somewhat scared to tell you that. saying nothing you embraced him in a warm hug
