Sweetpea and his daughter had decided to have a daddy/daughter day since Sweetpea had such a demanding occupation he hardly ever saw his daughter which made his heart pain. but being the bubbly child she was Trixi never held it to her fathers throat, plus she didn't mind her babysitter

Now some of you may be wondering where Trixi's mother is....

it's simple

she left because she couldn't take it anymore. Pea not being around so much plus a nagging and crying baby, she'd had it over her head and decided to back away. much to Pea's dismay. now he had to play the role of the dutiful mother and father which deemed hard because of his occupation.

as the best surgeon in town, Pea was on call 24/7, performing 15hour surgeries back to back at the drop of a hat. he loved what did he did, truly but it took a toll on his personal life and most importantly his love life

"welcome to WakaBerry, your froyo dream, what flavours would you like?" a nice young lady asked
"I'd like a cookies and cream and Trixi would love a berry blaze" Sweetpea answered pushing his glasses up his nose
"alright, regular or large?" she asked
"large" Sweetpea answered
"that'll be $24,95" she said punching some numbers in

Sweetpea pulled out the respective amount, handing his 7 year old her cup and taking a seat in the cool shop.

"daddy you need to date" Trixi said
"where's all of this coming from?" Pea asked
"she's pretty" Trixi said pointing to the cashier who had just helped them
"that she is pumpkin but she's much too young for me" Pea humoured

Trixi looked around the shop, her eyes going for the door when she heard it chim the same tune to signal the arrival of a new customer. her eyes went wide at the sight of the woman who'd walked in. her locks in a messy but presentable bun as her skin glowed with the suns rays. she took her sunglasses off the sat them on her yellow top that was subtly tucked into her denim shorts that weren't too short either

"wow, she's beautiful" Trixi oogled
"Trixi, it's rude to-" Pea turned to follow the gaze of his daughter, his words getting caught up in his throat "stare"

the woman was one of the other surgeons, Y/N, she'd helped Sweetpea out in some of his surgeries but was mostly known as a neurosurgeon the best in the world. ranked as no. 3 in the highest paid. she was everything a man could want. Sweetpea had only seen her in her scrubs, but nonetheless he thaught she was gorgeous

her lip pulled between her teeth in concentration, eyebrows knitted together as a line of sweat formed atop them. her sweet voice barking out orders when the monitors went haywire and her soft hands brushing up against his larger ones. Pea was head over heels for the girls

but alas, after his saga with Josie he didn't have to confidence to just walk up to her and ask her out. he didn't wanna put her in danger of finding out his second identity and having people use her as leverage. she was much too innocent to be tainted with such knowledge.

Pea was broken out of his trance by the screech of Trixi's chair against the tiles of the shop. before he could stop her Trixi had run up to Y/N, tapping her thigh

"hello there cutie" Y/N's soft voice replied
"hi, you're very pretty" Trixi said
"and you're even prettier" Y/N complimented crouching you Trixi's height "i'm Y/N, what's your name gorgeous"
"i'm Trixi" Trixi smiled
"nice to meet you Trixi" Y/N smiled shaking Trixi's hand "will you please date my daddy, he's lonely but he's very handsome and he can cook very tasty pancakes" Trixi blurted
"is that so" Y/N smiled cocking an eyebrow
"yes, and you're pretty and nice and i'm sure you can also cook pancakes" Trixi said
"well where is your dad?" Y/N asked

Trixi said nothing, simply pulling Y/N in her fathers direction where Sweetpea sat blushing furiously at his daughters forwardness. when Y/N reached the table she smiled softly at Pea

"Doctor" Y/N smiled
"please call me Sweetpea" Pea smiled
"well, Sweetpea, fancy seeing you here. not wearing scrubs or with a mask over your face"

Sweetpea smiled, offering Y/N a seat which she gladly took. the 2 spoke. finding out they had a lot in common and weren't far apart in age either. their interests sparked up a conversation that would last a century had Y/N's phone not gone off

"Sadly there's a half brain dead man being wheeled into the E.R as we speak" Y/N sighed "i'll see you around?"
"Actually, i'd like to invite you to dinner at my place tomorrow night" Pea spoke
"didn't think i'd have the honour of tasting your infamous pancakes so soon" Y/N smirked
"ah ha, so Trixi told you about those" Sweetpea smiled
"yes" she said grabbing her bag "i'll be there at 7 sharp"

in the blink of an eye she was gone. off the save another life. the smile on Sweetpea's face refusing to leave but only growing wider as the memories of the last 3 hours played like a stuck record in his head.

"is she gonna be my new mommy?" Trixi asked
"hopefully, yes"
