Krista looked at her outfit once more before grabbing her keys and hopping into her car, driving to Riverdale High. As she drove there she passed Sunnyside Trailer park, her breath hitched as she recalled her memories there

Krista originated from Riverdale but moved to Japan due to her fathers occupation but just short of 3 years into their integration her father passed from his long battle with lung cancer. Both her mother and her were distraught and thought it would be best if he was buried back in Riverdale, his hometown. Her father was one of the original Serpents that began the gang along with FP to survive, so when they arrived they contacted FP to let him know about the passing of an original. The funeral was organized and the Serpents sent him off in the most dignified ways

And that's where she met him.

Sweetpea.

Their eyes met from a mile away and she felt an instant connection towards the tall boy. And she guessed he felt it as well because he began stalking towards her

"Hey, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are"

And like that they began talking, developing a relationship within seconds but when it was time to leave Krista felt a pang if sadness because she didn't know when she would see him again.

After the funeral Krista and her mother saw no reason to go back to Japan and live in some big expensive house when it was just the two of them, so they got a home on the Northside and lived there, where Krista attended Riverdale High and focused on her love of theatre and arts.

In her last year of high school, the shutting down of Southside High was announced and although Krista didn't know much of the Southside and Northside divide, she knew this spelt trouble.

"Well we have to welcome them with open arms Archie" Veronica argued
"I know Ronnie but-
"No buts Arch, you're either with me or against me and don't think I won't do this because you don't approve" she said sternly
"Okay" Archie sighed giving up
"Hey Krista! You don't really know the Southside kids, besides Jug, so how about you get first hand experience on how to deal with them" Veronica smiled at Krista
"I-uhm I don't think that's a good idea Ronnie, everybody seems upset about this move, what if-
"No, you're doing this with me, no ands, ifs or buts!" Veronica said grabbing a nervous Krista and dragging her to the table where the class schedules and locker numbers and extra curricular activities lay

While they began setting up, the door burst open revealing a group of kids wearing leather jackets, lead by Jughead.

That's when she spotted him.

Sweetpea.

Their eyes met as they both recalled the night they met before they blushed crimson and looked down. Krista zoned out as she thought of possible ideas to approach him, comotion brought her out of her thoughts as she looked to see Sweetpea landing a punch to Reggie's jaw making her gasp as she ran to pull an angry Sweetpea off before Weatherbee came.

She sat dragged him into the boys bathroom before locking it and grabbing the first aid kit

"Sit" she said to the tall boy who obeyed
"This is gonna sting" she said as she applied alcohol onto his knuckles which made him flinch as she mumbled a sorry. She continued to bandage them up as they sat in silence, his heavy breathing the only thing that rung through the walls

"All cleaned up" Krista said as she pulled herself off the floor

As she walked to put the box down she was grabbed by the wrist and pinned to the bathroom stall wall as Sweetpea placed his lips on hers

"Hi" she giggled once they pulled away
"Hi" he said huskily

Krista wiped her cheek as she recalled the memory of the beginning of their relationship. She drove on reminiscing on the reason of their break up.

After Krista and Sweetpea left high school their relationship flourished and so did Krista, because she was noticed by a bigger force that swooped her to New York where she did broadway.

She would occasionally have free time which she would grab and go back to Riverdale where she would be inseparable from Sweetpea, where they would cuddle for hours on end, where they would talk about missed out time.

The last time Krista left home she thought everything would be normal, you know, she goes, comes back and they cuddle but Sweetpea was tired of the distance and it was getting to him, badly. On many occasions Sweetpea thought Krista was cheating but back in New York, Krista was getting ready to tell Sweetpea she maybe pregnant. But she didn't want to jump the gun so before she left she took some blood test in New York.

The last time she came back she had told Sweetpea she was quitting to become a music and arts teacher at RHS. He felt relief wash over him, he finally had time to have his girlfriend of 3 years with him.

Wrong.

At times Krista would have to go to her students home to help them prepare for competitions and recitals and Sweetpea wasn't having it. His gorgeous girlfriend alone in a room with a young high school boy.

That's when he snapped.

When Krista came home the one night he had her things packed, as he sat there.

"Happy 4 year anniversary ba- where we going Pea?" She asked confused
"More like we're are you going" he said bluntly
"I don't follow..."
"Really Krista! You thought you could pull the wool over my eyes!? You left for 2 years of our relationship to Persue your broadway career in New York and I stood by you! Despite the distance and all that! You then came back and told me you wanted to be a teacher here and I thought we would have more time together but no! You wanna go to your students homes! For what! Lord knows!" Sweetpea yelled letting his frustration out
"So I can help them-
"Bullshit!" He spat
"You said you were proud of me and now you're turning on your words!" Krista said her voice lightly cracking
"No, I'm just tired of being your boy toy" Sweetpea said bluntly
"What?"
"Just take your things and leave"
"Pea-
"Out."

With that Krista grabbed her bags and headed to her mothers house where she recieved the call of a life time

"Speaking, oh yes Doctor Hudgens"
"Yes, Krista, your results came back"
"And... "
"You're pregnant."
