you woke up feeling horrible, your body hurt with every move and your eyes felt heavy. blaming it on a late night you took a shower, slowly relaxing under the hot water before letting out a big sneeze followed by a cough

"no no no no no" you chanted getting out of the shower and charging for the medicine cabine. you took out a thermometer and stuck it under your tongue, pacing the room. after a while you took it out and read the readings which confirmed your thoughts

you were sick

groaning you went ahead and got ready. deciding to go to school because your attendance was crap as it was and weathebee was threatening expulsion, and you didn't need that. grabbing your serpent jacket you made your way to school, surprisingly not crashing due to your watering eyes

you got your books out of your locker and made your way to the lounge where your boyfriend sat conversing with Archie about the next boxing match. he caught sight of you, excusing himself from Archie and making his way to you.

"Y/N you look awful kitten" he said
"aw gee, way to make a gal feel sexy Pea" you said sarcastically
"i'm being serious kitten" Sweetpea said seriously
"look it's just a small head cold, it'll clear by second period" you shrugged
"you're going home" Pea said
"excuse me?" you asked
"you heard me"

you went to protest but Toni walked up to you two
"woah Y/N you look like you got dressed in the dark" Toni jokes
"thanks" you smiled sarcastically
"no i'm being serious, your shirt is inside out and you're wearing your jacket back to front and your shoes are miss matched" she pointed out
"i don't care!" you exclaimed before the bell rang "i'm going to first period"

you stormed into the now clearing hallway, stomping toward your English class only to have your wrist grabbed and you yanked back into a hard chest

"Y/N i'm serious!" Sweetpea hissed
"i'm also being- being- damn is it hot in here" you said shrugging your jacket off
"what?" Sweetpea pressed the back of his hand to your forehead "you're burning"
"pea" you said before passing out cold luckily in Pea's arms

*at home

you woke up in your bed, the AC facing you as an ice pack sat on your forehead. you whined at the cold throwing the ice pack across the room and kicking your covers off. you looked at the time, you were late for school

"good thing i made soup" Sweetpea smiled walking in with a tray
"sweetpea it's 6th period" you said drowsily grabbing your backpack
"y/n, you passed out at school kitten" sweetpea explained
"what? bullshit" you exclaimed
"i brought you home and gave you some antibiotics they much be making you drowsy" he said checking the bottle
"i need to get to mr mccallums class or he'll kill me" you said messily applying lipstick to your lips

sweetpea watched in amusement as you "got ready" for school

"y/n" he said making you pause
"huh?" you asked
"you going to school in your pjs?"
"shit!"

so i live all the way in South Africa and i haven't gotten Riverdale S4 yet.... so the stories are going to either be inaccurate or their going to be not based on the story at all so you will have to bare with me kids
