Eva looked at her outfit one more time in the mirror as she smoothed her classic rock tea over her ripped jeans. She grabbed her purse as she walked out to the door before she reached it her fathers voice made her jump

"Where do you think you're going young lady?" Fp questioned leaning against the door
"Uh- to the Twilight Drive-in" Eva answered honestly
"You know my rule about during the week outings missy" Fp said sternly raising a brow at his daughter
"I know dad, but please! Toni begged me to go see this movie" Eva pleaded
"Okay, but only this one time" he said giving her a smile
"Thanks dad" Eva said giving her dad a kiss before skipping out
"Curfew it 11:30pm!" He yelled after her

As Eva drove to the Twilight Drive In she thought about her conversation with her Dad, I mean she wasn't entirely lying she was going to the TDI but it wasn't to meet Toni, it was to mean Sweetpea, her loving boyfriend of now 6 months.

Why did this seem like such a big issue to lie about?

Well her dad wasn't exactly supportive of her dating and if he found out it was the nortorious heart breaker SweetPea, not only would he flip the switch but her brother would go ham on him

As she pulled up she was met by the sight of her beautiful boyfriend leaning against his bike, his hair slick pack perfectly and his Serpent jacket glistening in the moonlight

"Sorry I'm late, had to sneak past the old man again" she smiled walking up to him
"I hope you didn't have to lie again" he asked
"I mean imagine telling him "oh hey dad can I go out with my boyfriend of now 6 months SweetPea?" You know he'd blow a gasket and flip this world on its head so keeping it a secret it best Pea, plus I didn't entirely lie" Eva smiled at the end
"Oh well taking about 6 months, happy anniversary baby" Sweetpea smiled at Eva opening a box which revealed a ring with her birthstone
"Pea- you didn't have to my god- where did you get the money?" Eva asked flabbergasted
"Don't worry, anything for my babygirl" he smiled as he slipped it on her
"I love you Pea" Eva said
"I love you too Eva" Sweet Pea said closing the space between them

"Eva?" A voice said causing the couple to break apart
"Eva! You told dad you were here with Toni but instead you're playing tonsil tennis with Sweet Pea!" Jughead exclaimed in disgust
"Oh wow! You said you weren't ready for a relationship!" Another voice said making you snap your head to be met by Reggie's hurt eyes
"Guys-
"I'm telling dad!" Jughead said storming off
"I'm outta here" Reggie said walking off
"Really man! You could have warned us" Sweetpea said looking at Fangs
"We tried but you know Jugheads persistence!" Toni said raising her hands up in defense
"Now isn't the time! We need to get to my house! And stop Jughead" Eva said hopping on her bike and going off with Sweet Pea

As Eva pulled up to her trailer she opened the door to find her father pacing and Jughead sitting on the sofa wit Betty

"Really now Eva!? Sneaking out and lying! Is that what we have come to?" Fp said more hurt then sad
"I really meant to tell you dad but I didn't know how you would react" she said looking down at her Doc Martins
"Babygirl, I want you to know that as long as they won't break your heart I support it" he said pulling you into a hug
"I'm glad you aren't with that pig Reggie anymore" he laughed
"Thanks dad"
"My pleasure princess"

Fp walked over to Sweetpea as he eyes him carefully
"And if you so as hurt a hair on my babies head I'll break your kneecaps" Fp said sternly
"Yes sir" Sweetpea said
"And after that I'll-
"Okay dad! He gets it"
