Packing up my books, i shut my locker and made my way to class. there were whispers in the girls locker room about a new student joining our class today and i was pretty excited, someone new to liven this place up was very much needed.

my phone vibrated in my pocket signalling someone was calling me. i pulled it out to see Sweetpea was, i rolled my eyes and declined, shoving it back in my bag.

you see it wasn't that i didn't want to answer Sweetpea's calls, it was just i knew what was coming. it was going to be the same conversation about how he misses me and how much i've distanced myself from him and i was tired of that. i was going home during Halloween so maybe i would speak to him properly, reignite our relationship maybe.

"Hey Y/N" a voice said pulling my out of my thoughts

that's when i realised i'd wondered to class without even noticing.

"Brett" i answered shortly
"I heard we might have a test tomorrow and i think i need help so what if i swing by your dorm tonight and you help me.... revise" he smirked
"you don't even know the topics of the test" i said
"well i already know i don't know them" he smiled
"just give it up Brett" i said rolling my eyes
"Romeo never gave up on Juliet" he answered
"but now Romeo is dead" i smiled back making the class snicker

before Brett could come back at that, our professor walked in.

"students, i'd like to introduce you to our newest addition. Forsythe Jones" he smiled
"actually it's-
"Jughead" i smiled
"Y/N?" Jughead asked. i smiled giving him a hug
"i didn't know you went to Stone Wall" he said
"well now you do" i joked

Jughead sat down and the lesson began. 20 minutes well into the lesson a knock came from the door. i didn't bother looking up until i heard the voice. There he stood. Sweetpea in all his glory.

"Excuse me sir, i'd like to borrow Y/N from your lesson" he asked politely
"may i ask what for"
"family matters" Sweetpea answered shortly
"very well then, you'll get your notes from Brett" the professor said

i packed up and followed Sweetpea out the door. not saying a word to him, i pulled him in the direction of my dorm and slammed the door when we arrived

"what the hell are you doing here?" i asked
"i actually expected a much more warm welcome than this" Sweetpea said sitting on my desk chair
"this is not the time for sarcastic remarks!" i shot
"well first you didn't tell me you were going to Stone Wall Prep" he said
"because i knew you'd tell me not to go!" i yelled
"exactly! because i know this place changes people- i mean look at you now!" he yelled back
"excuse me?" i asked
"you heard me. you've changed in me Y/N. you're no longer the sweet girl i met at Riverdale High- you
no longer look forward to my next call-
"because it's the same bullshit over and over again and i'm tired of it." i sighed
"bullshit huh? so our relationship-
"bullshit!" i said cutting him off "now if you're done yelling in my face. you know how to get in right? so get out"
