Sweetpea climbed off his bike, grabbing his keys out of his jacket pocket and walking to his trailer. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion when the door was already opened, hadn't he locked it that morning? Slowly he opened the door and grabbed his switchblade. He heard a thud in the bedroom before a figure walked out

"Jesus, you scared me" the person said

Sweetpea lowered the blade as he scanned over his girlfriend's features. Her hair was much longer then the last time they had seen each other, which was a little over 8 months ago, and she wore a coat of Matt red lipstick over her lips as well as some light make up.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N" Sweetpea breathes out

He was shocked, she wasn't due to come back until the weekend and it was Tuesday. He did miss her dearly but he'd done something that replaced his feeling of happiness with one of guilt.

"Hey" she said softly
"Wh-What are you doing back so early" Sweetpea stammered
"Uh- I came to fetch my things, I'm going back tonight" she confessed

Sweetpea looked in her hands to notice the bags perched behind her

"What- why?" Sweetpea asked, eyebrows furrowed
"Because there's no reason for me to be in Riverdale" Y/N chokes out
"Y/N-
"I know Sweetpea, the long distance was too much for you so you found comfort in the arms of my sister" Y/N said not looking up
"I didn't mean-
"To sleep with your girfriend's sister? See Pea I know how long it's been going on, the party, the everything, I know" you said not skipping a beat "I don't know weather to be disappointed in you or act surprised?"
"What do you mean act surprised?" Sweetpea asked

Y/N let out a little laugh, wiping the tears off her cheeks

"When I was 13, Josie was happy to kiss my boyfriend at a friends party during spin the bottle, when I was 16, she slept with my boyfriend of a year and here we are, I'm 21 and she's sleeping with the man I thought I'd one day marry" She said letting a tear go at the words

Sweetpea didn't know how to process the words coming out of Y/N's mouth. He didn't want to believe them, what he felt for Josie felt real

"She's been fucking Archie Andrews as well" Y/N said "just FYI"
"No, you're lying" Sweetpea said "you're just bitter"
"And tell me Sweetpea, what do I gain from doing that?" y/n spat "it's not like I get you back"
"No" Sweetpea breathed out

A honk was heard outside

"Well, that's my ride" Y/N said grabbing her bags. As she passed Sweetpea she gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek
"I'm sorry" he breathed out
"I know Pea"

Y/N put her bags into the trunk of her mother's car. Greeting her before hopping in and driving off with Sweetpea watching the car disappear into the distance and the words she said playing in his mind

would yall mind if I opened the book up to the rest of the Riverdale characters for the meanwhile... I have so many Edgar ideas
