It has been a while now working at Mr. Rutherford's corporations and at the Elite Towers. I never go to the Elite Towers because of the fear of getting caught. I have been thinking of quitting but I keep getting deeper and deeper into both jobs. I love my life its like a secret detective, I have been giving periodic updates to Farina but I have nothing bad to tell her about Seth.

I lied to Farina that I got a secretary position, I was scared she might rat me out to Seth. I'm trying to cover all my tracks. She told me that's great and I wasn't fit to go for the vice president position. Little does she know? She told me to give her a report bi-weekly if anything happens. The office life is slow it just drags by and before you know it, its the end of the day.

I was working on a file that Seth sent and my burner phone rang. It was Farina calling.

"Hello?" I say

"What hell was that Natalie, you have nothing juicy, bad not even in the interview?" she says yelling.

" I'm at work and I'm trying" I say as a defense

" I need more Natalie and if you fail to produce something that will blow my mind in these upcoming reports, you good as gone to me. Stop playing games Natalie I need something meaningful. Don't enjoy your job there too much because in a snap I could expose who you are. I value you dearly but I need my things too. Understood" She says and I could hear her nails tapping on the table.

"Okay, so I can't give you something I don't have you said it yourself integrity is your word" I say.

"Listen Natalie, it sounds like your protecting him. I found 100 things when I met him and your telling me you can't even find one?" She says angry

"I can't, I really can't" I say

"Just watch it, if the reports are unsatisfactory I'll deal with you then" She says and hangs up the phone. Oh my God! I whisper. She's becoming a nightmare, if I quit she'll probably just rat me out. Damn its like I can't win, from the second I accepted the journalism offer I was doomed.

It was currently 10 am and I put my burner phone away and my assistant walked in.

" Good Morning Natalie" She said placing my coffee cup on my desk. I was looking out my window panel to the city thinking about what to do with the writing assignment. I couldn't lie and make stuff about Mr. Rutherford I can't write something if I don't have anything against him.

" Are you alright Natalie" Leah said and I jumped I thought she had left placing my coffee.  I made a big burning mistake; I had turned my chair around too quickly and with my luck it had spilled all over brand new lace dress. My legs were burning like they were on fire.

" Owwwww!" I yell

"Oh my lord it hurts so bad, I think my flesh just came off my bones" I say and try to throw the coffee from my lap on the floor but the burning just gets worst by the minutes.

" I am so sorry" Leah says and grabs paper towels from the nearby restroom frantically. I grab them and try to wipe it off my dress but it just stains and spreads. Leah cleans the floor after she's done cleaning she says "I'm so sorry"

" No, I was deep in thought I thought you had left. I'm alright I just can't feel my legs" I say trying to keep quite from the pain.

" I am going to go and clean up" I say and I start to walk through the door towards the coffee room to grab some more paper towels with my shiny new white heels ruined.

" Natalie are you okay" I hear my co-worker Jeff say.

I was noticing Jeff always coming in when I'm getting coffee, or something to drink. Even when I'm in line for the bathroom he comes and talks to me. Its a little excessive to be honest.
