"I have an announcement everybody" Taylor says and taps his glass.
"Shoot" Seth says looking at him with curiosity and Ana giggles. Huh? what's happening.
"I met this gorgeous girl as soon as Natalie had came to this house. I fell in love like love at first sight. I want to announce that Ana & I are officially dating" Taylor says and there's silence.
"What? But we just got here" I say confused. Is this a joke.
"Yes but love has no time, it just comes" Taylor says and looks at Ana happily and Ana has a grin.
"This makes no sense." I say and shake my head in disbelief. How, what and when were they hanging out. Is this a fling?
"Well, congrats bro I hope she treats you well and vice versa" Seth says
"I'm happy for you and her" Vanessa says and smiles. Taylor nods and sits down.
"How's Irene?" Taylor says
"Yeah she's fine we broke up. She was asking for money and it's just a big turn off she was weird I kind of figured girls would just go for the money in the bank instead of making meaningful relationships." Seth says
"Yeah, you'll find someone bro" Taylor says and grabs his plate.
"Yup one day" Seth says so empty and sad.
"Natalie are you seeing someone" Taylor says
"No, focused on my career" I say and look down eating and then I realize where this is going.
"Natalie you should date Seth. Seth I'm sure you'll like her. "Taylor says
"I agree" Vanessa says
"No! We're co-workers stop making this awkward guys" I say
"Yeah, you know the rule no dating colleagues" Seth says and eats his toast.
"I mean you broke so many rules for her mind as well break this one too!" Vanessa says.
"Excuse me, I'm finished lovely talking to you all" I say and walk away. As I'm walking out I still hear the conversation.
"Haha no, some rules others have to break for the relationship to go anywhere" Seth says
"So your saying if Natalie hits on you or wants a relationship your down" Vanessa says
"Vanessa stop it, Ana is right here" Seth says
"Your not denying it" Taylor says.
"Excuse me as well, I have some work to do" Seth says
"Dude you like her admit it!" Seth says and I roll my eyes and walk up the stairs. Dating Seth! Gross!
I felt pretty gross after Taylor and Vanessa were trying so hard to get me to be with Seth. It wasn't going to happen. People needed to stop trying. Of course, I liked him but not like that when someone has helped you to get on your feet like it's weird thinking about him.
I hear a knock on my door. "Come in" I say and the door opens I see Seth.
"I just wanted to apologize for what Vanessa or Taylor said at breakfast. I saw you were uncomfortable and I in no way wanted you to feel like that" Seth says
"They always get hyper talking about my love life." Seth says.
"Yeah, I figured that" I say starting to paint my nails on the bed.
"Wow this is awkward" Seth says and I laugh.
"I also wanted to thank you for helping with my cut the other day. Thank you for not telling Vanessa or she would have gone nuts" He says and laughs. I smile.
"Of course, glad I can help" I say. I try to keep it professional but I feel Seth doesn't like that his energy is way more friendly than at work.
"Great! so I'm going to go. I'm going fishing with the whole fam and your invited so if you want to come wear something that if it stains you won't mind. The fish and mud tend to get clothes dirty" Seth says and I'm surprised!
"Fishing?" I say
"Yeah, every Sunday when everyone's free in the house we go out to fish" Seth says.
"Oh that's awesome, I would love to come." I say I place my nail polish down and go to my bag.
"wait I have something to give to you" I say and grab the fresh money I had just received from working. I grab 2000 dollars for the month and hand him the bills.
"No Natalie I don't need this" He says giving it back
"No. Me and Ana said it was a morally thing to give money. I know you don't need it but we have to do it for conscious like you said the other night" I say
"No, 2000 is too much 1700 will do" Seth says
"No you have to take it, the breakfast and everything is covered" I say
" No Natalie, I can't let you give more than Taylor he give like 1200, it's perfectly fine keep the extra hundreds" Seth says placing the money on my nightstand.
"I'll see you in a few downstairs" He says and walks out.
I start to get ready and Ana does too.
"When were you going to tell me" I say
"It's not a big deal we are just dating it happened so fast" Ana says
"Please don't do something dumb Ana we are here to leave since we can't afford somewhere else. Don't be dumb" I say
" chill out" Ana says wearing her cap.
This is going to be a long ride...............................................................................................................
