If He Only Remembered

Chapter 16

I hear a knock on my door. I look at the time and it's 6AM.

"It's time for work" I hear Seth say and I'm beyond mad. Does he not remember yesterday! I think.

"I'm not going, leave me alone you liar!" I say and Ana gets up to get ready.

"I'm going to work & school" Ana says

"Natalie you totally misinterpreted yesterdays conversation" Seth says 

"I heard enough, Shut up and leave" I say. I get up and get dressed as I come out of the bathroom I hear shuffling behind my door and my door opens. I see Seth standing there with a key.

"You can't do that! this is my room, it's considered trespassing!" I yell looking at him. 

"Last time I checked this was my house" Seth says spinning the key

"I pay you for this room so leave before I call the cops" I say

"I actually have the authority to kick you out" Seth says 

"I'm not talking to you" I say and look through my closet.

"If you don't go to work I'm going to fire you. I can't keep giving you chances, you have to be mature! Let's have a conversation. " Seth says ready to go with his suit. 

"I'm not going" I say

"Your a liar, cheater and a bastard" I say

"What were you when you worked for Farina?" Seth said walking inside coming closer.

"I apologized, I was honest and upfront" I say fixing my dress in the mirror, satisfied with the dress I'm wearing.

"Honest? When you were caught Natalie? I could have ruined your name in the business" Seth says walking in closer to me. THIS MAN!

"Seth, we are moving to another apartment. I think it's best if we don't cross paths anymore" Ana says and walks out. 

"What did I say?" Seth says grabbing my arm gently.

"It doesn't matter" I say and shrug his hand off my arm, I'm about to walk out. He grabs my arm again with a tighter grip.

"Your making a mistake" Seth says holding my arm. 

"I know, I'm trying to fix it now" I say trying to yank my hand off.

"Why haven't I fired you yet. Why are you living in my mansion when only my family does. Why did I give you a second chance to work for me when the number one rule is to kick out RATS?" Seth says and pulls me towards him. I turn around, "Let me go Seth! Your selling us to dark world so you get richer. It's revenge" I say

"When you came to me about Farina, I listened to what you had to say. Your father and Mother are in jail Natalie. They plotted that whole thing and tried to put it on me. They found evidence and your father admitted to it. Someone who lied about the crime scene your going to believe them and whatever they say?" Seth says 

"Yes, leave me alone! Let my hand go!" I yell and he pushes my hand away hard. I stumble a few steps surprised at his behavior, he pushed me gently making sure not to hurt me but I could feel his frustration.

"Get out Natalie, if you can't have a conversation and in denial leave now. I listened to you when you needed someone the most. Your naïve and act so dumb sometimes. How do I know your not working for them?" Seth says 

"Because you have investigators everywhere, you probably investigated me and Ana and my whole freaking family. I have no idea why your after me. Any normal person would let me go, I don't know what your plan is Seth! You never told me about this drug business" I say looking at him.
