If He Only Remembered

Chapter 19

I wave like Toni and Luca are. I smile and walk into the mansion. I try to spot Seth but I can't see him or anyone I know. 

I finally see Seth come down from the staircase he looks concerned and upset. His green eyes dull and filled with pain.  He has eye bags under his eyes. His hair messy and his beard unshaved. 

"Luca and Toni" Seth says looking at them. That velvety voice that I have missed it felt like I didn't hear his voice for centuries but it only has been a day. I want to yell and scream at him but he hasn't noticed me.

"How are my bros" Seth says and hugs them and then looks at me and my heart skips but nothing no recognition. I'm about to speak but someone guy comes up to him.

This girl in a super tight black tight dress with 10 inch heels walks over to Seth. She starts to laugh and literally is flirting. Luca starts to talk to me about something I'm not listening I just nod. 

Lilly walks in with this model looking date. She's wearing a nude tight dress with her hair teased. I spot a huge diamond ring on her left finger.  

"Who's the guy" I say to Luca and he turns around to look where I'm looking.

"That's grace's white son. He's Seth's cousin." Luca says.

"She's hot though" Luca says and I roll my eyes, such a player. 

"She's dating a billionaire." Toni says and pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through Instagram. 

The same girl that came up to Seth comes up to Toni.

"Hey names, Juliana wanna dance" she says looking at Toni. 

"Sure" Toni says and leaves to the dance floor. Seth has swallowed up into the crowd of people.

"My family is in Spain pretty dope" Luca says

"I think Seth is coming here, don't tell him it's you. It will create a scene because Seth will want to know where you were. Just stay quiet and when the guest leave then you could tell him" Luca says

"Makes sense" I say

"This is a high class event everyone is listening" Luca says and I feel the couch sink next to me and I smell the all too familiar cologne. 

"So Luca what's new with the training room" Seth says and places his arm behind the couch.

"Its good people are coming getting fit, your estates." Luca says

"Its good. Grinding " Seth says and slouches forward, I see his muscles flex in his tight tuxedo.

"Damn, you've been working out my guy" Luca says and Seth chuckles.

"Yea, got to look intimidating and fit" Seth says looking at the ground.

"Yea, bro you look tired" Luca says. It was true he looked worn out.

"Yea work and family stuff" Seth says. 

 Seth sits up as the waiter arrives. A waiter comes up to us and gives us wine and I shake my head no thanks. 

"Thinking about drinks my girlfriend didn't like to drink. Everything I wanted someone to be. Perfect just perfect. Her smile and laughter she was simple and had a heart of gold. " Seth says I see him smile just thinking of me. It feels weird, I'm the same girl and he doesn't notice me. He's probably going to be so mad when he finds out.

"Did you love her?" Luca says and I look at Luca to stop.

"Oh yea, there's something definitely there it might be love it gets stronger and stronger everyday." I see Seth painfully smile, I felt terrible, I felt like a murderer. I wanted to tell him it was me but it was crowded people were after me and I didn't want to make a scene. I was just glad I was with him here and now.
