If He Only Remembered

Chapter 29

Natalie Pov: 

We had all managed to fit into two cars, which was surprising. Mr. Richards the lawyer from UK had joined with his "girlfriend" Cassandra in our car. 

"I heard Natalie, you were going to London" Mr. Richards says questioning. 

"Yeah, most probably for a break it really depends I guess" I say 

"Its a great place, you would love it. You should consider it" He says and the ride came to a stop as we hopped out into the lavish purple light Tarvern. 

The bouncers just nodded, acknowledging us one by one. 

"Is that Seth Rutherford?" A middle aged man said looking at Seth up and down. The Tavern was sort of full, which was expected since it was dawn already.

"Johnnie what a pleasant surprise, I didn't know the boss himself would be in town today" Seth says

"I wouldn't miss seeing my boys face for the world. How's your old man" Johnnie says

"Dad's good." Seth says and you easily could hear the anger in his voice. 

"How about your mom" Johnnie says

"I would prefer if we take family out of this conversation" Seth says with a monotone voice and starts walking with Johnnie while all of us follow. 

"I have the VIP lounge ready for you anytime for you" Johnnie says 

We walk up the stairs and stopped in-front of a black door that says VIP

"Well, at least introduce your old man, to your posse here" Johnnie says

"Just friends, no girlfriend, wifey material.."Johnnie says

"Not that I know of" Seth says and Johnnie winks. 

"I think I see a lot of potential if you know what I mean" Johnnie says looking at Cassandra. 

"This is Vanessa she was my sister in law, but you know infidelity runs in the family and ruins houses. This is Cassandra and Mr. Richards there are together. This is Mr. Stanley our family lawyer which you must know already. This is Luca he is like a little brother to me, my right hand man you could say. That's Natalie she is Vanessa best friend." Seth says. 

"You know what's poppin Johnnie my bro" Taylor says walking raising his hands for a hug. 

"My bro, never forgets his old man" Johnnie says embracing him.

"Why you lookin like you had the worst hangover of your life. You should be happy your getting married, and how's your fiance" Johnnie says patting him on the back. 

"I tell you, your fiance is t-r-o-u-b-l-e" Johnnie says and Taylor laughs nervously and glances at me. 

"She truly was" Taylor says running his hand through his hair.

"Was?" Johnnie says

"Johnnie they broke up, she cheated on him with my brother. Vanessa's and Taylor's relationship went downhill." Seth says 

"Who knew the Claire were trouble, I heard the older ones more mature." Johnnie says laughing. 

" Yeah, that's her Johnnie, Natalie Claire" Johnnie looks at me in awe. 

"Names, Johnnie, Johnnie Welderman, your father was a good man I was close with him before he went to jail." Johnnie says shaking my hand. 

"I would think otherwise." I say releasing his hands. 

"Well, I will leave you all to it, have fun, get drink and go all out" Johnnie says with a wave and walks down the staircase.

We walk inside the VIP room and its honestly beautiful. Purple lighting and spacious, it was breathtaking. There were girls dressed provocatively, waiting to dance to the music.
