If He Only Remembered

Chapter 9

I honestly felt sick to my stomach, I  suddenly didn't want to go to this party, I was exhausted from work. Who does a party back to back? I told Ana about the offer Seth gave and she said she loved the idea. We both agreed we should pay rent not that Seth needed it but it was morally right. We started to pack up stuff and I texted Seth I accepted the offer he replied great see you at the front entrance. We ordered an Uber, and stuffed our 3 hours of quick packing inside suitcases. 

I told the landlord we were leaving and boy was she glad. We told the Uber driver the directions and he drove her there. Ana and I talked about work and the files I was working on. We finally arrived at the mansion and the gates opened automatically. The familiar mansion was lighted up for the festivals. 

 It looked so beautiful even the Uber driver said this place looked awesome. The last bit of money Ana had she paid the Uber driver. He helped us get our bags and we walked towards the front entrance and thanked the Uber driver. 

Seth was waiting scrolling his phone wearing a brand new suit and his hair slicked back. The party had flew over my head. I felt underdressed, my hair was in a messy bun and I wasn't wearing any makeup. Ana on the other hand, was wearing designer which half of her income gets spent on. Ana was always well kept and has this aurora that she's rich when she's far from it. Me on the other hand acts and looks like a broke woman great. 

"Hey!" Seth says looking at us and Vanessa walks to join him. She's wearing a long below the knee's dark blue dress. It had an off the shoulder strap and her hair was just natural but she looked natural. 

"Hi!" Me and Ana say at the same time. Another man comes out of the mansion, he had blonde hair and greenish eyes.

"Hi I'm Taylor, Seth's roommate. Glad to have others on board" Taylor says and extends his arm shaking each of our hands. 

"Nice to meet you" I say and Ana nods.

"So let me show you your room and we can tour the house." Vanessa says.

"Would you like a joint room or separate rooms" Vanessa says.

"Let me take your bags" Seth says and Taylor joins in.

"Joint rooms" Ana says and Vanessa shows us a room. Its beautiful, its pretty neutral pink and huge with bed on the opposite sides of the room. With Parallel windows to the bed. We had a bathroom inside the room and two separate closets. 

"This is amazing" I say and I hear Seth and Taylor place the bags behind us.

"It really is!" Ana says in excitement. 

"The maid will unpack your belonging and Ana I will give you a tour of the mansion. Natalie you should get ready to go to the party because your getting late. When you come back we can give you a grand tour too!" Vanessa says

"Sounds like a plan" I say and start to unpack looking for my dress. I pick this nude flat dress, it was pretty I loved it. 

"That's such a odd color" My sister says

"Wear this one" She says taking the bright red long dress. It was long and flowy with a V-neckline.

"Ana why?" I say

"Because it's so pretty on you with a nice red lip oh my god!" She says grabbing her makeup bag. I quickly take a shower and change into the dress. I apply foundation, mascara, eyeliner and bronzer and to top it off a glossy neutral red lip.  I grab some neutral heels and walk downstairs. 

I see Seth and Vanessa laughing talking about something. Where was Vanessa's husband? 

"You look amazing Natalie" Seth says and Vanessa nods.
