If He Only Remembered

Chapter 18

After a while Luca cranks up some pasta and hands me a plate and puts down a small one for goldy and she barks in delight. 

"So, what happen with the billionaire, I think it was your birthday yesterday. He sent me a picture of you and him at the party in the group-chat." He says and takes a huge bite of his pasta with his fork. I place my plate down. I didn't even know this guy, what if this guy wanted to kill me. He looks at the plate then me. What if he's lying about all this?

"If I wanted to kill you I would have let the street boys do it. There's no reason for me to put anything in your food or drink if that's what your worried about" He says. 

After what felt like forever in silence I speak up.

"If you saw my picture and had a feeling it was me in that dumpster,  why did you act like you didn't know me" I say 

"Wow is that what you were thinking about" He says and I look at him and nod.. 

"Okay it does sound dumb after I think about saying it out of the blue" I say

" I would be an idiot if I was like OH MY GOD YOUR NATALIE, you be running before I finished." He said.

"But I still ran" I say and he shakes his head.

"I know" He says 

"Did you run away from Seth? Why were you on the street like that" Luca says

"No, we're actually dating. I was going out for a jog and suddenly these guys start running after me. I run into the forest and just sit on a tree for hours. My phone had no cell phone reception. So I started to run out the forest see the gas station but my phone slipped and fell and now its dead" I say shaking my head.

"Oh" Luca says and Goldy comes and lays on his lap. I give him my phone.

 "This is as good as dead. I got a new phone also so I lost my contacts. I'm getting it fixed in a week I'll see what I can do?" He says and I nod he shows me a guest room and I just sleep in the same yoga pants thankful to be alive.

The next morning I had woken up early and made breakfast for Luca and Me as a thank you for keeping me as a guest. Life was different here, it was more calm and relax. 

"Hey Nats" Luca said grabbing the plate of omelette I had plated for myself, 

"Your welcome" He says and I just look at him in anger.

"That was for me" I say plating another plate for myself

"I place the plate in-front of Luca's and I realize he's already done with his food" I take a few bites.

"Lucky for you there's a party tonight, Seth's going to be there" Luca says finishing his food.

"Your going to get dressed and go to the party, Seth will kill me if your not dressed" Luca says

"No he won't!" I whine

"My makeup/stylist is Toni, he's going to be helping us" Luca says

"Thank God I won't being doing it to myself" I say and Luca nods. The door bell rings just as I'm finishing my food. Luca comes back with Toni.

Toni has colorful hair with glowing skin this dude was great.  

Toni has funky colored hair which was trendy, "Hey I'm Toni" He says and I nod.

"I'm going to get you all dolled up" He says and I nod in excitement.

"Come on this chair and lets begin, we are going to start with some gorgeous caramel highlights. Then waxing, spray tan, doing hair and makeup." Toni says I feel so fancy.
